Yeah, but you, Podyx, seem to be a practical kind of guy... b/c you were thinking about cars in the $5k price range... but I suppose if unexpectedly, BTC skyrocketed from $5k to $100k, then concepts regarding what would be practical may need to be adjusted to suit the new circumstances.

Whoa-za!!!!    I just looked up the prices of that Austin Martin, and it is approaching $200k ----- your ideas of practicality is shooting through the roof with a bull-ish fog.  It is gonna take a little while to be able to acquire one of those bad boys with a stash of merely 1 BTC.

At today's BTC prices, a guy may be struggling to acquire that BMW for merely 1  BTC - especially if it runs.

I suspect this is one of the arbitrage start-ups that have become all the rage in recent times. I'm seeing these medium large buy ups and sell downs to the same value on multiple exchanges in close proximity.

Pretty cool.

I read an article about one of them recently (I forgot the source, sorry) that said they were on track for something like 700% APY doing this. That's good work if you can get it. I wonder if these guys have any special arrangements with any exchange?

While it makes everything seem kinda boring right now, before there were any major entities doing this people were always ranting about how someone should do it. You can't satisfy the Speculation forum!
