I wrote that a long long time ago. 2011 I think. It's been quite a ride so far. The problem with being ahead of your time is that you never know when (if ever) the rest of the world will catch up.

Sometimes you meet the world, still fumbling and stumbling and slowly marching forward, when you are on your way back.

i just sold some bitcoin coins for 0.45BTC
I was confused there, for half a second.
Only a half a second is impressive!
I've read it five times and I'm still confused.

I think all of us should just go to Vegas for a week, get drunk, party, gamble, and settle all these differences of opinions in person. It would be fun. I'll room with LampChop.

Sos no room, lamp chop has to book a whole floor suite for all his sock accounts.

i have a feeling LampChop can really party hard.

i'm in, lets do this next year when price is 9K and climbing

Hmmm.... probably a typo and meant to write that he bough 0.45BTC..... unless he sold $121 (0.45BTC) worth of bitcoin?.

In other news: Further price drops tomorrow as people get worried about the auction results?

Well that is why you just don't got margin/leverage and either choose to hold cash or choose to hold BTC, whichever you think will outperform Tongue

If nothing bad happens to bitcoin in the meantime it's quite possible.

Grrr woke up to find out my long stop triggered while I was sleeping. I'm going to keep my powder in the barrel today expecting some volitility what with the auction bids today and then rollover of okcoin weekly futures tomorrow morning. They both may be non-events but who can be sure. Don't want to give back the recent gains.

If we drop more I will pick some up above 265 for a trade, this is the 50% retracement level for the recent rally. If we rally from here I guess I'll have to catch the next train. Somehow I have a feeling that rallies will be sold today and that by tomorrow there will be a better entry point for a nice long trade into the weekend.
