I have prepped my suicide device and linked it to a price ticker.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Some reasonable support around 2k, but below the orderbook is tiny, then the drop probably will be quick.

I've seen bigger walls being eaten in this dump.

Well this sucks, seems like people wait until the weekends to really dump on the market at the moment.
I'm not in a big hurry, so as long as this isn't the beginning of the end, it doesn't matter too much.

I do feel a lot happier when Bitcoin is rising to all time highs though, I feel rich!

I'm sure there is some out there just itching to push the buy button at this price but are holding out to see where the bottom is this time around. We could see a little rally perhaps  Smiley

Trying to stay positive here lol

Not sure how low this may go. Got a bad feeling. So long as there is uncertainty of 2 chains and fear of not being able to get your BTC off Exchanges etc... this fall could get ugly, and already is. Is it all worth it? makes ya wonder. I suppose if we can get to a place where the block size debate is settled maybe then we can soar again. But for now, I just got a bad feeling.

How ever I don't think big holders will just up and be selling off. Especially if they bought in at say 1600 or so... So that in itself may slow the drop to a point. Who knows lol

It would be as easy as miners accepting that BIP141 is the only thing that wouldn't make the market crash like a plane on the twin towers, but their ego is too big, they are on a mission, they don't care about the price. Hardforkers are here to cause damage and take control of bitcoin no matter what happens. They will pay dearly for attempting that.

whats wrong with me?Huh
the bubble brought me back to btc and i bought all my btc (a lot money for me although i dont need it, i live a simple and frugal life)
at 2200 to ATH and still i like the price dumping hard to get more coins.
am i the only one who is thinking no matter what BTC will be back up, maybe not this year but next or the year after?

It makes ya wonder if some of this just isn't good old manipulation. Build up this air of uncertainty drive down the price, then the big farms say oh ok, we're onboard with it now.. after filling their coffers with BTC  Shocked

What is it with you girlymen? This is what the price does. You got too soft with all the endless rises. It's back to business as usual for now.

LOL@all that manipulation talk

No one screamed "Manipulation!" when we were going from one ATH to another. Now we correct hard cause we have (as everyone can easily witness) internal conflicts going on and have had quite a steep rise from 250 until 3000 and suddenly everyone screams "Manipulation!"

Learn to deal with it folks. It's not always a bed of roses.

I'm feeling that traders aren't all that interested in trading the dips and mini rallies of this market. The trend is a slow downward deflation mostly driven on technicals. And the uncertainty going into August is not very reassuring.

They can make more on the swings in the Altlandia market.

If SegWit gets adopted, I could see a mini rally but it might not be a big as people think it will be.

Mh, I think I disagree. They might be somewhat irrational, but not totally foolish. What's the use of being in total control of something that's worthless?

OR - Jihan Wu and all the bullshit, that's actually a cover for the Chinese government trying to crush BTC even if they have to spend good money on it. Now this is something that makes me feel uneasy, because it might be 100% rational for China to strangle bitcoin even if the result is worthless. They would significantly improve capital control, which is quite important in their agenda.
