Well... Just took a look at https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html and it seems like whales are purely playing with the market.

Looke at those adresses (top 4 of the blockchain adresses in term of number of bitcoin detained) :
One dumps 7000btc, the other buys 7000 btc, one dumps 20k btc, the other buys 14k...

Should we expect a massive rise, as that they have played with the market to make it sink and will surely make it rise to gain profit ?

Do not worry this is a very healthy correction.

We are just getting rid of dumb money in crypto. If you didn't do stupid things to buy crypto (like borrowing money from banks) then you have nothing to fear. Just hodl it. People who did these stupid things however, they r.i.p.

Last time i've seen this shit ( the dump after Gox in 2013 and the pump after) i made a promise to myself. I won't play this sell high buy low game. Buy&Hodl. That's all matters. If you think we will never ever see $20k and upwards again, you should dump everything you have and leave crypto immediately.

Number 2 beeing a tradesite. Everything featuring thousands of transfers is no single entity.
One could argue if those, swarm intelligence, act any wiser.

edit: oh wait, it's BittrexFinex coldsotrage, gaining weight

Yes, I just grabbed examples. If you look further, you can see wallet IDs with +10000, +2000 and such.

The best strategy the buy/hodl F*** the rest Thats happening ,is the one wroten often in This threat and agreed mostly on ...... but still i think Many of those that agrees on This strategy don’t really do iT allways and still find ways to panic and sell @ ridiculous prices maybe breake even ,or with very little gains ,or maybe with losses ,but Just keep in mind Why you are in btc for and if its for the long term glory than Just hodl thru and ride the waves doesn’t matter in what kind of forms/Sizes they come Just relax and keep riding them

DOW JONES falling like a stone in the water. Global economy is falling down. WTF is going on?

Market fell only 2.5% on Friday. And the market today isn't even open yet.

Too soon?

Sadly, there are quite a few locked threads on this forum that deserve some necro love. Perhaps start a new one..everyone enjoys memes.

Might hold off it looks like. Now we have all the makings for the perfect storm next week. Stocking up on popcorn, tums, hookers and blow. See ya.

I think that my maintenance stage has become more and more refined, but I don't think that my skills caused the refinement but instead the fortune of our most recent exorbitant price rise from $2,600 to $19,666... .. but yeah, we are back in the doldrums of $8k-ish, but did not stop me from feeling a certain level of comfort from maintenance refinement.  When we get to $100k (assuming we do at some point - perhaps less than 5 years?  perhaps?), then I will likely develop even a more "refined" perspective regarding the significance of maintenance.
I can't help imagining you as you build the phrase and deliver it in a rhythmic deep baritone with hints of Spanish accents. A cigar and your favorite drink are all the props needed for the scene.
(lots of snip snip)
Without conceding any truth of the matter asserted, perhaps reasonable claims can be made that money causes changes in the way each of us carries ourselves, whether in the real world or online?
That does sound likely.
But you haven't told me what your favorite drink for such a speech would be!

BTC/EUR depth seems balanced, however the BTC/USD depth show some sign of weakness in the selling side.
Come on you rich people, buy all that  Grin

Someone decided that they might need to deal with the plunging stock market instead and leave crypto alone?
One would hope, but whatever. It would be "funny" if they wanted to damage crypto and shot themselves in the foot so to speak.
It already happened before. A law of unintended consequences.

EDIT: Dow is down more than 500 points again.
