Why would it go up? The market just collapsed to $7500, yet the market imploding is somehow "bullish"? What planet are you from where you think a parabolic blow-off top occurs and then somehow another bull market happens again right after? Any real market on earth would be stuck in an extended bear market for years after the bubble implodes like that. In order for it to instantly skyrocket now for no reason, it would be required to be a scam since no legit market does that. |

Plus, the 24h volume is insane. Don't know if it's a good sign, given that we are in a downtrend.

Thanks for the welcome back everyone. I missed this place.
My internet access was pretty much limited to occasional Android device access at cafes and bars during trips into town. Sometimes I'd even be able to get a semi-reliable connection where I was camping out.
One dude in town has satellite access and relays service out to the boonies via transponders mounted on bamboo poles. Sometimes it take 3 or 4 refreshes just to reach Google. Other times you can even watch streaming video. It's hitt and miss.

Wait a minute. If the price rising and then crashing was entirely due to printing Gox dollars out of thin air and none of it was an aggregate market at all (not that bitcoin ever is but like 1% of the time), just how can some random Russian guy take credit for predicting anything? How the hell does that make ANY sense? If anything his prediction was completely wrong and then Karpeles' fraud accidentally made it line up. |

Who knows how he predicted the price crash and 2 year bear market? He seems to mainly use TA. However, the conspiracy theorist part of me sees how stunningly accurate some of his recent predictions were (like bottom 9k during the last drop) that I wonder if he knows more than just TA lines on a graph. |

Word to the wise and caution for thew new ones. The crypto market can be easily controlled by special interest groups using techniques such as conclusion, misinformation, and insider trading that would net them some jail time in the traditional stock or currency markets. For the last 48 hours it's obvious how both ETH and LTC are slowly being devalued against BTC via the introduction of BCH trading pairs between BCH/LTC BCH/ETH BCH/DASH BCH/ZEC. Coins such as EOS that only have BTC and ETH as trading pairs have remained untouched and have gained in BTC valuation. It works with those fud charts that become a self fulfilling proficiency with just a little help from old market manipulator... Wink wink nudge nudge know what I mean? Remember oldschool and new day traders regulation that has helped the "traditional" market manipulation is not present in the crypto currency exchanges. Perhaps on Feb 6th we will know more on how steps will be enforced adopted into this market.
