I'm finally pulling the trigger. Thank me later for the cheap coins.
You can't wait 2 weeks and get 5k more more coin?

Quick maths. Should listen to that Tone character...

Aargh but those vowels. But Tone is the man right now. Bet he was bearish back then too?

Really glad you didnae listen to me.

You ended up picking a pretty good spot as you needed to circle the wagons.
Not even convinced that this is the bull correction yet.
Shoulda said 2 months. (shoulda also said more *per coin)

Why is it a big deal if the stock market goes down 2%? Can you imagine if btc went down just 2%? People would be shouting 'omg bitcoin is stable'.

Seems we are still not out of this yet. Was hoping that when I looked at the price next it would be over 9000. At least it was for a bit I guess.

There's walls beginning to form above $9000. That's usually a sign the price is due to rise. I think we will stay go above and above $9000 later today.

Prediction:

We will go to $7.4k within eight hours from now and then whipsaw back to over $8k.

Prediction transparency report

At time of prediction price was about $8650.  8 hours later is $8750.

In between we have seen $8170 low and $9031 high.   So the forecast of a further dip was correct but not anywhere near as severe as predicted.

I will adjust my model a bit from “Apocalypse Now” to “Apocalypse Later Maybe”.

Apocala'erpraps / Armageddsoon

Actually it's pretty ballsy to make such a precise near-term call and fwliw I agreed at the time, but wondered if such a small bounce could be called 'whipsaw'.

My previous low-too-low limit buy got filled, but in the meantime I slipped one more in. I won't be satisfied the rise has begun until I have at least one low buy order left unfilled!  Grin

CNBC’s Ran Neuner Says Bitcoin Will End 2018 At $50,000
https://cointelegraph.com/news/cnbcs-ran-neuner-says-bitcoin-will-end-2018-at-50000

What do you think guys?

I think this is good because it's higher than the present price.

Well with your brilliant insight, I do believe you could give all those
genius tv financial analysts who comment on bitcoin a run for their money.

And like its a real fact its gonna drop for sure ( whiteout they know not anything about BTC)

Too early to call imo. A nice bump to $9500 by the week close would be more convincing. The stock market falling again on monday would also help matters

Just dumped all my tethers. I was so worried about tether I was ready to buy back at 12K the other day. This is a steal.

You don't have tethers. You don't have bitcoins. You never had.
Don't get too excited when bitcoin price goes down and don't be too depressed when bitcoin price goes up.
Just don't forget to take your daily medications and everything will be ok.

Would you like me to sign a message for you?

Yes, I think it's a reasonable time to buy...

...but it's also true that another dump could happen anytime in the next week. It really depends on when you bought previosuly, for new investors it's a pretty good starting point.

Merited by Elwar (1)

It may seem obvious to some more experienced traders and bitcoiners, but I've just fully realized how good of a thing it is for prices to go down as the result of correction (even a long-term correction) or manipulation.

Helps to get cheap coins, especially when other people are panicking.

It was pretty surprising how my parents, who bought at a pretty high price to begin with, made back some of their losses by keeping calm and buying at the dips the last few nights.

If you know that the price is up long-term, you can just measure your wealth in coins, not spendable fiat.

I participated in that... After half went in a single bite.  I’m temporarily back in bull mode. For better or worse.
