Guys, this doesn't look pretty to me: Yeah.... If you draw a bunch of down arrows, and you say that the situation looks bad (or not pretty), then that is really scary. It feels almost as if such a negative scenario could actually happen and largely because it is stated on a chart. Those are not just the bunch of down arrows, they are all the attempts of bulls for the short-term breakout; each and every attempt of bulls within the last week failed, and if this continues even a little, it can take us down to around ~$5750.

Thanks Jbear. I must admit with all the BCH forks flying around I am losing track of which BCH is supposed to be the real BCH. Is it the Peter R or Alex F version or someone else’s?
You seem to be unable to discern the difference between: an instance of a blockchain; and a proposal for an instance of a client. So is the instance of the client with OP_Group enabled the real BCH client or is the real BCH client the one without OP_Group? Download 'em, run 'em, and see which work on the blockchain. Oh, you can't? You won't? Not my problem. I am fairly confident each will work on their respective blockchains. Unless you are telling us with utmost confidence that Bcash lol won’t HF in November?

Kelly Loeffler, CEO Bakkt: A critical element to price discovery is physical delivery. Specifically, with our solution, the buying and selling of Bitcoin is fully collateralized or pre-funded. As such, our new daily Bitcoin contract will not be traded on margin, use leverage, or serve to create a paper claim on a real asset. This supports market integrity and differentiates our effort from existing futures and crypto exchanges which allow for margin, leverage and cash settlement. Coupled with a secure, regulated warehouse solution, you can begin to see how this market infrastructure can help more institutions and consumers participate in the asset class. https://medium.com/bakkt-blog/https-medium-com-kellyloeffler-price-discovery-f9c77885383still need to know if they are going to use leverage within their own company https://twitter.com/CaitlinLong_/status/1031565897167765505Can't get on Twitter right now, but will check once I can. It seems they are trying to dodge claims of paper Bitcoin being created by rehypothecation, - and saying 'we will do Bitcoin differently'. I am still sceptical. Leopard.. Spots... EDIT: I read Caitlin Long's points, she is asking the questions and has been a long term advocate of shares on the Blockchain to prevent things like the Dole Foods shares problem: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/21/business/dealbook/dole-case-illustrates-problems-in-shareholder-system.html

Poor kid, can't believe he's going to spend all of his remaining lifetime in the prison just for trading between bitcoin/fiat for a little bit of commission.

Yeah - pretty SERIOUS cash involved: "According to AUSA Ciaffa, Burrell’s activities “blew a giant hole” through the legal framework of U.S. anti-money laundering laws by soliciting and introducing into the U.S. banking system close to $1 million in unregulated cash." 'A million dollars'? I think there's a meme for this somewhere.... Jeez, he could have made up to fifty thousand bucks.

Any American should've realised long ago that if they dab their anus with someone else's 1 dollar bill that's enough to get you 1 trillion years in prison, that's if you don't have the local police roll out their M1 Abrams, paid for by civil asset forfeiture, and empty it in your face.

Quoting the roaches racists shit is a "ignorable" offense, FYI. Using the left's weaponized language isn't much better. Hah!, I don't even know what that is! ADDED: Is that like the dark state or something? I just don't read all that Q shit. "hate speech"... it's a phrase cooked up by alinskyites to delegitimize and deplatform their political opponents without actually addressing the content of their message. It's like saying "conspiracy theorist" or "denier" instead of skeptic. It's politically weaponized language. I don't know if roaches claim is true or not, but if it is true than there certainly isn't anything wrong with speaking truth. Except for being off topic of course. So if you really wanted to attack it than you should attack it on the grounds of being either untrue, unimportant even if it were true, or off topic. Not on the grounds that it's "hate speech" which is basically saying "shouldn't be allowed because it makes me feel neggies" (coining that word right now, means like feeling negative emotions, but in a sarcastic making fun of snowflakes kinda way). I'm not defending roach here. Just things like "hate speech" or "conspiracy theorist" are almost as annoying as euphemisms like "people of color" or "undocumented immigrant". Grinds my gears you know. Anyway I don't want to go down a rabbit hole here in this thread so we should go elsewhere if anyone wants to pursue it further.

No. I am saying that we know not yet which implementation will collect critical mass. Chances are, the miners will mass 99% behind the implementation they prefer, and the 1% will crawl off into obscurity, capitulation, and subsequent chain death. Unless, of course, reality slaps the lagging implementation in the face leading to a kumbaya moment.
