Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Fuck this just capitulated on ETH and sold for BTC.

I'm holding my ETH in hopes we get a pump when futures launch. OTOH, I don't hold enough to lose any sleep over.

I believe ETH will probably die, but not yet. Consider the fact that this is the first, brutal bear market for an ETH holder. It must be pretty scary. I believe this helps cause an exaggerated ETH (and other altcoin) decline. There are no war-forged ETH veterans yet.

First BTC bear was $32 to $2, so if we apply roughly similar numbers, ETH might bottom at around $90 (give or take).
Many prior high-flying eth tokens are already at almost zero volume.

The ETH / BTC volume on Bitstamp was so low I had to market sell.

I decided rather than just let the ETH sit around in a bearmarket I would put the funds to use on Bitmex.  That way I don’t have to dip into my BTC savings.  I’m going to try to catch the bottom of this wedge with low leverage. Might take a few days to drop under $6k but I’m in no rush.

This is the current Market Capitalization chart of cryptocurrency.

Capitalization puncturing 190B then the next milestone will be 180B. It will return to about 190B and then collapse to 130B.
This is my personal opinion.

I’m going long if we get under $6k.

We will, and then subsequently below 5K, and then perhaps another rise before the next trap. Sub 2200-3K in our future. There will be many more short term trading opportunities during the next 5 months.

The major pattern relies on the halving. Reward-Drop ETA date: 22 May 2020 02:07:54 https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/
Bottom predictably in around Feb-March 2019.

By all means BTFD, but also plan on a longer accumulation time, you will have 12-13 months worth of accumulation time before we reach this level again. These are my opinions based on 5+ years studying the patterns of many crypto currency markets and understanding the math and fractal patterns associated with markets.
You could always just go with Roach's plan of Exter's Pyramid and place gold as the end all of investements; or was it silver now as the better investment strategy?

Meanwhile edityou can everyone else can stare at my balls...3D Sterogram gif

Nope there's war in bcash land. Wars are expensive and all sides are sitting on sizable BTC stashes which they're liquidating to fund their little war. Get some popcorn enjoy the fireworks, BTC is just getting a bit of an aftershock from the nuclear blast that about to go off in bcashlandia, the silliness should end in November after they strangled each other, as in either case the looser will start dumping their bcash reserves

Everyone has been extremely bearish. Could be a bullish sign, as Theymos mentioned.

At any rate, I can't imagine us going below $3K.

LOL, I am pretty convinced this shit is going sub 1K. Years from now and it will be remembered as a scam of the century, it actually is, admit already that all you are waiting for here is just new bunch of idiots with student loans. No difference with 2014-2015, but this time it will never hit even 10K.

BITMEX IS AN SCAM EXCHANGE

We all thought bitfinex is evil and doing disservice to bitcoin, but Bitmex is worst. We should avoid bitmex.
It will be the end of bitcoin.
That exchange will squeeze every penny you have.
Hayes greed is insatiable. Look at that face. Damn greedy bastard.

Bitmex is scheming and scamming all traders there. Now it control significant amount of bitcoin and look at what its doing to the crypto community.
Even lunch money will be stolen from you by that greedy hayes.

We need to stop bitmex now. or else its death for bitcoin.

I confess to you all, I went "out there", and viewed other sub-forums here. I saw a newbie that was whining about how much he got/lost/made/sold in the last 6 months, and should he get/lose/make/sell more?

I responded. I feel dirty.

i bought my 2 kids both an gpu eth miner to educate them into crypto as it beomes their world, and i want to prepare them on their future.... Better just gave them the money they costed...

So you're mining an altcoin and you want guarantees about bitcoin's future, right?

No, i'm merely mining bitcoin, and on a sidenote i build 2 gpu minders for diversity opposed to asics. To let them learn about crypto, i gave each a gpu miner we build together, in order to learn, follow, trade for btc, other coins, etcetera. A gpu miner is more versatile mining different coins as opposed to a asic.
That was the idea.

Besides this, i dont believe there can only survive one coin, and as eth was very promising and THE second coin, we started to mine that too.
