Where can I find this 'up' you're mentioning?
Up your bottom. So... Rekt, right? Glad at least someone agrees with me ...
I find your lack of pessimism deeply disturbing...
what's to be pessimistic about? look where we are $6300 . in 2013 this would blow my mind. mass adoption hasn't even happend yet but public awareness is increasing exponentially .now we (and the world) no that $20000 is possible just as $1300 was shown to be possible . its all good mate Well I see no reason to be optimistic anytime soon. $6300 is an awesome price ($2k up YTD) I just don't think this is the bottom, that's all.

Fine. I'll stop looking at the daily chart. Switched to the 1min chart. We have a nice momentum building up for the last 30 min. Bullish AF!

Ye. Also thinking about it. But maybe other versions exist UPD: it's much simpler Our hot wallet maintains only the funds necessary to fulfill withdrawals in the queue, approximately 0.5%. To refill the hot wallet, 4 of 7 HSMs are required to initiate a transfer from the cold wallet to the hot wallet. — Bitfinex

Everyone has been extremely bearish. Could be a bullish sign, as Theymos mentioned.
At any rate, I can't imagine us going below $3K.
LOL, I am pretty convinced this shit is going sub 1K. Years from now and it will be remembered as a scam of the century, it actually is, admit already that all you are waiting for here is just new bunch of idiots with student loans. No difference with 2014-2015, but this time it will never hit even 10K. But what if i'm waiting for retailers to start accepting bitcoin so i don't have to loose money on FX every time i go to starbucks outside the country i live in? Then your whole presumption kinda falls apart doesn't it? goldagny ain't notin make me more'v a smily then posts like this. caint beats king ethher tho he like 19 not seen jack of real life to have useful perspective on emerging market patterns of globle scale, economy theory study in partcil;ur nature of human vs mob vs internatonial demographic emotional (greed) driven behavior. or like just general history. of nearly any country ever. eventually it all comes full circle and i's not specshly inspired with confdince in the lads assumed leadership on experteese of a rapidly cycling unregulated near-total free market that won't sleep and transcends borders and cultures complete. so i is bulllllllllllash af tyvm.

So a whale removes or sells all ?
I suppose that they didn't have enough BTC on the hot wallet to fulfill all current withdrawal requests and just added new funds to ensure withdrawal of funds

(6th) February:
Bitcoin: $106 Billion Altcoins: $214 Billion
Today:
Bitcoin: $108 Billion (+1.75%) Altcoins: $87 Billion (-60%)
That was at the height of ICOs and everything being "the next Bitcoin" the question is, is it a consolidation or a market loss? Mostly loss (temporarily), institutional milking. The BTC cap should be much higher. I've just read this thread from friday and don't see anything about this. Can someone ELI5 this shit for me. I read a bunch of the links but I don't follow this drama. I'm not sure how those keys work so can he really get those keys and try a flip? UT 700K to 1 Million Bitcoin (BTC and any Bitcoin-Fork) “worthy any price on January 1, 2020” could be the ultimate dump from BTC to BCH or BCC or which ever “Bitcoin is Cash” Craig and them/team decide to do? Quick math at 700,000 BTC at $7,000 is $4.9 Billion (and if was 1,000,000 BTC at ATH of $20K~) would be $20 Billion range – by January 1, 2020 (next halving will be between April-June 2020) the price of one BTC could be much higher given the trajectory and advancements being made despite all the internal politics. https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/satoshi-nakamoto-craig-wright-dave-kleiman-phil-wilson-bitcoin-creators-revealed/BTW if it was me I would burn those on his shitchain first and then dump on all the forks and btc while supporting his shitcoin. There is no victory for this shitchain, if they try to destroy Bitcoin they will destroy themselves. Netscape is gone... If Bitcoin is anti fragile than any implementation will survive that protocol fight. Otherwise its gone anyway. Sorry but there is no protocol fight, bashers forked off and the market decided. And if one person can decide the fate of bitcoin, than the value is 0, even if its satoshi himself. Basicly I think the satoshi coins are burned, if even one of these coins is moved the market will dump so hard, that the current ETH chart will look bullish in comperision. I have been under the suspicion that Saotshi destroyed his keys when Gavin was told the Federal government wanted to meet Satoshi. Gavin tried to set up a meeting and Satoshi saw what I see, them wanting his help with a backdoor or charging him as an accessory for every single silk road transaction. Back then the lawyer fees would cost him more than his entire stash so why not just burn the coins and fade away from the scene? What I really need explained is the keynesian key 3 way system supposedly used and if it is ( or even can be) proven that it was indeed used and that one key alone can move it at that time? The proof would be in the chain and the code. I have no clue about this type setup and assume there is some writup on this I can read as it's all so mudded I cannot discern fact from fiction. I'm of course assuming FUD but still I want to know for sure.

All we need is a little patience. Honey badger doesn't want his balls stepped over. Just forget about the price for a while. My medium-term SOMA prediction for today is we'll have to grind our teeth until the end of September. Futures and stuff. But the end of 2018 will be nice, very nice. Because reasons.
Of course, SOMA predictions can change any minute! It's like a medium term weather forecast, only much more fun.
SOMA Predictions(TM) - Don't listen to them, for ANY reason! Almost always wrong, almost all the time!
