Volume yesterday was really low.  It’s the green bar you can barely see, to the left of today’s single pixel line red bar.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

It seems a few weak days are ahead, absorbing the medium wave down for now. $6,300-6,500. That should then form the basis for the move to $7,000 again.

So is this what the crypto winter felt like ?  Or still too cheerful?

A lot of people melted away, at times there was just Chart Buddy auto-posting for three or four posts, which meant no one had posted anything for hours.

With Gox and the slow grind down it was just dull, felt like an ATH was maybe never going to be seen again.  It wasn't despair, it was like watching a life support machine.  Early 2015 was probably the worst, when it went under $200.

I was under water then, so just bought a load more to cost average down and didn't log in as often.

You could catch up on a week's posts pretty easily, though.  The good old days, eh..?

Last chance buying the dip Bitcoin the bottom is now - $6451. I'm considering the decent probability.   Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

What does this mean? Dump incoming? Normally when there's a mini green candle we have a bigger red one to the side. Hopefully not Smiley

As we go sideways, we're nearing the bottom of the long-term log channel that's been in place since 2010. Price will need to turn bullish soon to keep the log trend intact.

More or less 35k by the end of 2018

Volume yesterday was really low.

Get used to decreasing volume there. Bitcoin trading is slowly moving out of regulated bitcoin exchanges. Price on those exchanges is not indicative anymore as it is artificially suppressed by banks hindering transfers of fiat funds to exchanges.

At the moment, the wisest thing to do IMO is to stay market neutral (basically: flat or hedged). A bit more suffering, my friends. Not sure it's really going to be late 2018/early 2019, but the rewards will be handsome.

I think the 2014-2015 was much worse, as the fundamentals weren't so strong and the overall feeling about bitcoin wasn't so positive either. If this is suffering, then I don't mind to suffer some more. But of course can't wait when it's over Smiley buy buy buy.

This doesn't feel painful what's painful is the wife making me sell for the down payment on a home and soon. I'm going to lose out big.

Ouch. Hope the mortgage company doesn't give you too much flack on exactly how you came up with the money for the down payment. Also, I'm sure the government is going to require their pound of flesh.

Personally I’d wait until mid 2021. I’d rent a couple more years & then buy the house outright in bitcoin.

Everybody has different circumstances though.
