This thread is so quiet in recent days/weeks.

Reminds me of 2015, usually it gets like this before we slowly transition from bear market into bull market.

Cheap coins for another few months - Keep buying gentlemen.

NO sorry just crushing @the moment, but REALLY crushing

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

A positive note on Sunday afternoon.

Reasons Bitcoin’s Adoption is Stronger Than Ever

1-Bitcoin is now even more secure.
2-The number of daily active addresses is stable.
3-Transaction volume has doubled.
4-The average transaction fee is down to about 25 cents.
5-Bitcoin’s Lightning Network has grown nicely.

Guys one question for all senior members. What's so special about hats in your profile. I have never seen this craze in any other thread so far. Plz tell me.

nobody tell him

I almost explained it, but then figured it doesn’t really need explaining, does it?

At this point, if someone is curious, they can just go back and read the thread.  Maybe just give them a start date?  When was the hat start date?  About June/July 2018?  Right before the BTC price really crashed?  I am not claiming any kind of hat/price correlation, by the way.

Edit:  I went back and looked, and I suppose around October might have been more in the range of the starting of this hat contagion matter.

Bitcoin is useful to digitally keep some wealth out of the official banking system.

Now that the FED is leaving the tightening rhetoric, us prices will soar, the dollar will crash, gold will go up.

Bitcoin is very likely to spike again.

People should abandonate using some exchanges run by banks, People should stop feeding those banks by fees they use to dump the market. People should use exchanges like bitfinex and not like kraken if they want a spike again.

You will notice, I am not currently wearing my hat.

When the time comes that I don my chapeau again, it will be a time for great celebration.

I've capitulated so hard, my fucking cap has disappeared.

For now.

Sheeeit  Sad

EDIT: Although, I must admit, I am morbidly curious what sort of 3D wizardry our resident master haberdasher could pull off, with a GNfOS theme.

That was my thinking too. The hat will come back on when I feel the bull market has begun.

Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer money system. its design is public, nobody owns or controls Bitcoin and everyone can take part. users do not need KYC.
Bank account is a banking money system. its design is governance, banks own or control accounts and people can't take part. users need KYC.

Kraken is a crptocurency exchange, users need KYC to access and use kraken services, users can not deposite, withrdaw and trade Bitcoin before KYC verification.
Kraken marging trading is done via a lending pool, users can not take part. the pool is funded by kraken money and cryptocurrency they got by taking fees from people. Kraken design is governance.

Bitfinex is a crptocurency exchange, users don't need KYC to access and use Bitfinex services, users can deposite, withrdaw and trade Bitcoin without KYC verification.
Bitfinex marging trading is done via a lending pool, users can take part. the pool is funded by everyone using bitfibex. Bitfinex design is public.

Yeah, they got alot of nerve being born on the other side of a line we drew in the sand and to want to get away from the shithole they found themselfs in.

Get in line, with all the rest of the immigrants who are going through the process legally.

Fuck you and your bleeding heart, for supporting people illegally entering the USA.

+1
I brought my mail order bride here legally. It cost thousands and thousands of dollars and was a multi-year long pain in the ass.

Here is a good series of videos on game theory if interested to while away your Sunday. It covers a lot of ground from the basic concepts to more advanced topics in easily digestible nuggets. Highly recommended.

A late good morning Bitcoinland. Been a while since I posted. Very busy. Back down in Playa del Carmen with the girl to get her tooth extracted.

Still going sideways... currently $3578USD/$4730CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Ho hum.

I try to stay out of foreign politics but with some recent posts and being a Canadian in Mexico, I couldn't help being reminded of this:

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Wrong. I think Trump is an inbred knuckle-walking redneck Republican hillbilly.

I wear my hat as a symbol of WO solidarity.
