Daymn bitcorn.
Looks like fomo is getting served! Isn't this where people like Vinny Lingham buy the breakout?

Confession: All in at 6.3k

I think this price action wont quit until its got its prey. Think of all those new investors and peeps that wanted to take a position from the final bounce that isn't happening.

Is this growth parabolic or just normal due to the next ATH? Like back in 2013 $10 steps a day were huge and in 2016 $100 steps a day were huge.

$1000 today is huge but isn't after 10k  Wink
Looking at bitcoin from a 10 year perspective or even 5, its always been parabolic, right?

You're right. Anything short of $20k is not that exciting.

Seems to be resistance at $7,000, possibly psychological though because ask walls aren’t that big.

Let’s see, I think we’ll break through 7k in the next few hours.

Still no correction since we doubled from the bottom though. It should come sometime soon... but when? Just be ready to buy the dip when it happens Tongue

Yep, probably going to be the last good opportunity before we wave goodbye to quadruple figures.

Ok, back of the envelope calculations:

Market capitalization of listed domestic companies (current US$): 65.66 Trillion USD : 65,660,000 Million USD
https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/cm.mkt.lcap.cd

Bitcoins in circulations: 17,700,000
https://www.blockchain.com/charts/total-bitcoins

Hence follows:
Tim Draper's prediction: 1BTC=3,700,000 USD

HODL!

Not sure how the market share of EARTH can be calculated, as it is definitely not the stock market only.
If you take ALL markets (sans derivatives), then it is about 200-240 tril.
5% of 200 tril is 10tril or about 500-600K/btc.

Naah, there will be an opportunity to buy the dip when it drops to 50,000.

Thank you Toxic

For me this remains the quintessential WO meme, and the highest form of the art to date.

Needs top hat, mustache, and monocle (this is gentlemen).
Riding bull (Lambo)
Paint train orange and put it on a roller coaster.
Rocket
...

Bawb might have been onto something with the banjo as well. While violin in classical music probably outnumbers fiddle in country, where else do you hear a banjo? (Bela Fleck excluded, of course).

Ops, I was salivating over my mobile and completely ducked up all the calculations.

Oh dude I have been working on an elevator pitch for that shit. Something that serves most peoples self-interest and is not excessively longwinded or technical. Pretty sure I got something mostly workable.

More buying than selling in the Netherlands: bitonic.nl seems to be out of coins (or more likely, fiat is stuck at banks, somewhere between buying customers and being able to route that fiat to the exchange(s))

I hope the banks get the promised "instant" weekend payments sorted, so we all can trade bitcoin like the rest of the week.
(finally sees a good use for centralized crypto's issued by banks)
