So dystopian... https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-stock-to-flow-creator-will-go-dark-if-btc-price-hits-6-figuresFor PlanB, despite the obvious satisfaction of BTC/USD increasing by an order of magnitude in line with stock-to-flow, the result would not be without its problems.
“I will go dark if the model is successful because if the model is successful, it will not be a pretty picture,” he said.
It will be nasty, it will (be) maybe war — people have Bitcoins, some people don’t have Bitcoin, it’ll be some countries have Bitcoins, some won’t have Bitcoins, it will be the U.S. dollar losing its reserve status, it will be geopolitical, it will be military.

What a knob. I wasn't interested in the first place but became rather less interested during this recent fall with him desperately shuffling his cards saying 'guys, GUYs, the model still works. Sort of thing.' As ever it would hit $288,000 for 0.1 seconds and then be back to five figures or less for years on end. Speculators themselves can fuck things up without government help.

A little test fire to get things warmed up. Carry on. https://www.space.com/spacex-starship-sn4-engine-static-fire-test.htmlThe SN4, the latest test version of SpaceX's Mars-colonizing Starship vehicle, aced a "static fire" Tuesday night (May 5), lighting up its single Raptor engine briefly while remaining on the ground at the company's South Texas facilities. ------------ Good morning all Interesting times we live in..I am just damn glad to have a seat at this amazing show. dyor 4h D stronghands

Good morning Bitcoinland. Still trying to leave $9k behind but dirty little Vegeta keeps having a tantrum... currently $9196USD/$12950CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Let's at least get over $9.5k so we can take aim at 5 digits. This 4-digit crap is getting boring and the halving is getting close. Go Bitcoin go. ...don't trust new any hardware wallets, even if they sponsor seemingly respectable media. and #dyor
ftfy It's safer just to keep your own keys. Not your keys, not your coins.

I think his work is interesting but he shot himself in the foot by including price predictions. The story should have been about the cross-asset comparison framework in his last paper but since he put in $288k he basically destroyed his own thesis guaranteeing no one will care about or remember anything but that number. It's a huge red flag to me that he puts emphasis on price prediction rather than underlying cause and effect in what is billed as a scientific paper.

You are not wrong however..it might indeed be around the $9.4k to $9.5k area. You can see a previous s/r loci on the left side of this screen that we are now about to re-enter.

This isn't the stock market. I also like a slowish rise which usually takes the form of regular steps up with smaller corrections in between. It just seems like we've been stalled in the $8.8k-$9.2k range since we barted back up from the covid-market-panic dip. I guess it's only been a week but somehow it feels longer. Yes. Patience is a virtue.

A good reason to never keep more than a small amount in any individual address. Don't keep all your eggs in one basket. Don't keep all your baskets in one location. Spread your satoshis around as thinly as possible.

In a moments like this, my greatest joy comes from fact that some fudsters mouses run deep into their holes after spilling poison through the forum for months In the remaining 10 days of the month, the quarterly reports of the main companies in the USA are made public. Now that Arthur Anderssen is no longer an audititing company (if you don't know what I'm talking about... Google "Enron", you'll be amazed), I guess the results can't be too good. https://www.marketwatch.com/tools/earningscalendarNow the question is, how will this imminent fall affect BTC? I say YES will dump hreally HARD and it is highly correlated and no safe haven.. let's see what happensNope, I was shorting because I expected whales (yes, that people that converted BTC in ponzi) to dump, but this coronavirus is still worse. I said 8k when BTC was at 13k in summer... then 5k, 3.5k.. now I say $1000 soon. Anyone still thinking BTC is digital gold, safe haven , ... and all this bullshit propaganda, deserves to lose his money. Do you think I am wrong? Ok, open long.. time will tell us who was right.
