What a meaty thread.  I should feast later, though it’s too bad that SwayStar123 mistook my sincere attempt to engage with her constructively as an invitation to Argue On The Internet.  No wonder this is such an extremely toxic community!  Helpfulness is unacknowledged; and fresh perspectives are merely an opening for knee-jerk reactions, instead of an opportunity to learn something new.  Sad!

As for the whole meat thing...I suspect that the media is working in overdrive as they support the NWO plan on getting us all to eat cockroaches. I just can't believe that people on this board are spouting off the propaganda as if it's all true. People who know how much they lie about Bitcoin and still believe their lies about meat. It's a damn shame. Maybe the media has been too kind to Bitcoin...it was perhaps a better filter when it was being attacked as just being used for drugs on the darkweb.

It is religiosity.  People who leave traditional religions (or are raised without them) usually find a modern substitute.  theymos has his transhumanism, for example.  Hereby lately, I have also been ignoring a quasi-religious theological war between the Marxist wealth redistributors, and the Reformed Capitalists who repose their faith in the godliness of the free market; there is not much sense on either side.

Veganism is attractive to those with Puritanical tendencies, such as those with a prior history of demanding the deletion of the Wall Observer.  It is based on self-denial of things that are healthy and pleasurable.  It is loaded with thou shalt not.  Meat is sinful.  Vegans now even have a doomsday eschatology:  Cow farts are literally destroying the world!

Cf. my previous observations on Greta Thunberg and the Children’s Crusade.

Now, take a walk through the religions of the past and present, and see how many more or less deprecate the eating of meat.  Comparison and contrast is left as an exercise to the reader.

Quote from: Nietzche (tweaked by nullius), Twilight of the Idols
He looked like a caricature of man, like an abortion: he had become a “sinner,” he was caged up, he had been imprisoned behind a host of appalling notions. He now lay there, sick, wretched, malevolent even toward himself: full of hate for the instincts of life, full of suspicion in regard to all that is still strong and happy.  In short a “Christian.” “vegan.”

disgusting. you meat lovers are fucking psychos.

You do understand that without meat you wouldn't exist or if you would, you wouldn't be able to put together an intelligent line of words?

Fact check:  He can’t put together an intelligent line of words.  Evidence is above.

Anyway<edit>, since you spoke of evolution in part of the quote that I snipped in my haste here</edit>...

Vegans, as most liberals and other religious fanatics, are evolution deniers who believe in human exceptionalism.

The cat hunts mice, the wolf hunts deer, the lion hunts gazelle—but o talking monkey, thou shalt not.

In truth, talking monkeys are only exceptional inasmuch as their brains swelled up until they became stupider than other animals.

Bitcoin down 25% last week and this place is discussing meat.

Yawn.  It will be back up.  Hey, didn’t I say that Bitcoin is boring (and that’s a good thing).

Thank me later for the increase in discord brought by my innocent little quote from the founder of the Satoshi Nakamoto Institute.  Meat is totally on-topic in any Bitcoin thread!

The only reason why we are here talking about Bitcoin is because a giant meteorite struck and made it impossible for giant lizards to survive due to the dust in the atmosphere and lack of plant life around.
With those giant lizards still around our rat like forefathers didn't stand a chance escaping caves, fart around in a bunch of trees for a bit and stand up straight.

So if it makes you feel better eat a lizard instead of a cow.  Grin
Lizards have been eating each other for near a billion years, so who the f cares?!

News flash, there is no noble award in the after life for not eating a cow. In a few billion years (IF humans survive that long) this whole place will be consumed by the sun and cease to exist anyway.

Enjoy everything and everyone (in moderation and as long as it is legal) whilst you can.

The JPMorgan bitcoin fund could roll out as soon as this summer, sources tell CoinDesk. NYDIG will be the fund’s custody provider.

All issues of plant eating good and meat eating bad are bs.

All vegans need to abstain from fucking.
They can do blow jobs muff jobs hand jobs and rim jobs.

If every  vegan was sincere they would see the truth in the statement above

THEY could save the world by not making it crowded.

Too many things happening IRL, too little time to properly follow WO. Barely managing to keep up...

Re. meat eating, vegans, etc.:

Cows are not compatible with eating corn, but corn is being used because it's cheap and abundant. As a result, their stomachs get filled with bacteria and they need to be fed heavy doses of antibiotics to deal with this. Watch Food, Inc. (2008) and be disgusted by it, among other disgusting things.

I vaguely remember reading that it's not corn itself that is the issue, but rather bacteria and other infective agents that grow when corn ears and other waste product is kept in silos for a sufficiently long time.

Quote
I have a few vegetarian and vegan friends. I don't know how good or bad their medical exams are, but I do know how they themselves look. They look kind of abnormal (in varying degrees). Some are abnormally thin. Something about them is off. Women are less feminine for some reason. Less attractive (to me at least). Could this be nature's "don't mate with her" defense mechanism? Also, they're often tense and angry, and pick on little things to start arguments. Nothing against them, just my non-scientific observations.

+1 Without wanting to sound like a jerk, it is my totally unscientific subjective experience too.

My grandpa did the above, and lived to be 106 years old (he was fully active at 104). Was born in 1899.
If it has any value as a predictor, I'd advise you could be better off with a longer than usual cash out plan... ;-)

What is with all the bullish threads starting up around here? Bitcoin will only fall to $40k? $5k? C'mon. Are these new forum members also new at math? The bullish sentiment of these "bearish" predictions is too much. $100 or please re-do your math.

the Sunday wall report

Answering a friends question about Ichimoku...old news for some but a refresh never hurt no one

#dyor

Quote
sure..typically breaking up or down thru span A or B..what I call the top and bottoms of the cloud indicates that the other span above or below will be tested
you have to keep in mind that Span A and B swap places depending on if the candles are 'above or below" said cloud
5:26
for instance on the daily..which is the chart I was talking mostly about...we are battling right below and on Span B
5:27
actually on a steep vertical which I typically infer as 'slippery'
meaning price will tend to slide up and down quite easily along that axis
5:29
then Span B is a long straight horizontal...what I call 'hard'..price ranged there and people where comfortable buying and selling at that range...a 'hard' spot if you will
5:33
Now to answer your specific question...if there is a solid break above a Span...and a close above said span..then you typically can expect the Span above or below to also be challenged..
ranging inside a 'cloud' indicates market indecision as well and will be followed by a sharp break away from that price range

5:33
there you go...ichimoku in a nut shell

Some new short fibs on the four hour and daily charts
4h

$52,401.42 upcoming Span B horizontal
D

Down 27.58% over the last couple of weeks...indicators reset and cooled

fyi weekly kijun sen now @ $39,057.61
5:56
everything still moving in the right direction
5:56
dont panic
5:56
that is all

It's pretty easy to spot on the charts where, after the ATH, btc got traded directly into the ETH market. It didn't dump, it just simply transferred.

Ah, the good ol' bait-n-switch.

I have no doubt that all that ETH will slowly trade back into the Bitcoin market.

Not that I am on Twatter (only occasionally search for Bitcoin jokes without the need for an account) but the best remedy for these imbeciles is just to suggest breathing is a form of white supremacy and watch these morons suffocate on their own stupidity.

The irony, of course, is that thinking other races are incapable of correct math is itself a form of white supremacy.

I totally exected this because of Bitstamp's order book and other signs. How stupid on behalf of the bears to try a suicide dump like that. Grin Grin Grin

word.
This time it was easy, even for a noob like me  Grin

You are deemed as no longer a noob... hahahahaha.. you humble bumble (aka fuck).

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

So, who sold at the bottom girls?  Grin Hint: totally retarded, brain-dead, veggie IQ beartards!  Grin

Dude, what about veggie bulltards with memory loss, then?
Hint: I hodl  Cool

Sold a little portion above $50k, which was planned to be sold around $40, while a bit of it got sold in the $60k area already.
My carpenters only want fiat, that's why.

I agree that sometimes it can be quite difficult to plan for some of these kinds of future expenses or maybe even cost overruns or temptations to be willing to ride out the market.. but then when it is moving against you, sometimes it may well be better just to pull the sell lever, even if you end up doing it in a way that is NOT exactly correct in terms of best practices of selling on the way up.. rather than selling on the way down (or at some relatively low BTC price point).

But, like Jimbo correctly and regularly asserts, us longer term HODLers sometimes are going to need to sell some kind of chunk of our BTC because we need that cashflow for something that is meaningful and helpful for us (and perhaps we have exhausted other less valuable assets/cash in terms of Gresham's law considerations), and sometimes, the shorter term market circumstances might NOT be the preferable time to sell (relatively speaking)... but if you are considerably in profits with your BTC anyhow (whether that is 2x, 5x, 10x, 100x or some other variation of a profitable BTC stash), you might just have to do what you gotta do.. which is sell (or shave off a bit).

When I see a homeless beggar lying on the sidewalk with a cigarette butt in his lips and the neck of a bottle protruding from a brown paper bag, I see a taxpayer... alcohol taxes, tobacco taxes, who knows how many other taxes.

Taxes for the construction of the sidewalk. And for the street sweeper.

There are a surprising number of progressives / socialists here on what is a primarily a speculation forum

... for a libertarian project.

Bitcoin no doesn't care regarding your politics or your views about taxes...

 Tongue Tongue Tongue

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

In other words, all are welcome here in bitcoinlandia (not that any of us can stop "them" or "the others"), even if you are retarded and even if you are trying to impose your values and beliefs on bitcoin or trying to "destroy it" in one way or another.... Maybe you will get recked or run off in an emotional outburst (aka rage quit) when you perceive that bitcoin is not working for the values/beliefs of ur lil selfie.. blah blah blah..   and maybe bitcoin is going to say.. who cares.. go fuck ur lil selfie with a 36 foot metal rod, if you believe that bitcoin is ONLY x, y and z.. blah blah blah.

Right!
Bitcoin is definitely good for money laundering, buying drugs and making all sorts of “illegal” purchases, funding organizations that get shut down by the likes of visa and PayPal, keeping any government from freezing or confiscating your accounts, leaving totalitarian countries that restrict you from taking your wealth out of the country..

Make all the laws you want.. You can’t stop Bitcoin or stop anyone from doing whatever they choose with it..
Bitcoin still works perfectly for the anarchic uses it was intended for..

Hilarious to see “bitcoiner” lefties get their panties twisted about tax evasion.. lol

Bitcoin works not so great for authoritarians/socialists/leftists..
