Huh?  So you are here to teach some of us a lesson?

You don't sound like a very good person.

Truly he isn’t a good person claiming to be fighting against bullies when he’s the one being the bad guy in the room. I honestly think everyone here in the WO should just give him the silent treatment, ignore his comments, don’t reply or quote his posts, when He’s done misbehaving and showcasing his seasoned skills he will go quietly or keep being the fool.

Bitcoin really needs to give us a good ATH, not the DON’T get your hopes up kind, let’s pump to $130 - $150K.
Let’s have a new series of ATH.

I think the best thing is to just ignore this dude or man or whatever he is so he could keep being seasoned.

So...
What i actually did:

I put him on my ignore list. yay! finally! He's the only one on this list.
Additionally, i added a blocking entry to my Adblocker, consisting of that "show/hide" URL, so i can't be teased anymore.
I will only read quotes of his narcissistic bull(y)shit, which i could filter out with some more effort using developer tools or advanced HTML filtering capabilities of the Adblocker plugins i use. Maybe even hide the whole message container by filtering his avatar/nickname, to make his posts truly invisible locally.

It became pointless arguing with him. He's throwing shit into here and when he's being criticized, he tries to play the victim/blame game.
What a pitiful pile of DNA. I wish him the best for his life, honestly. Hugs, kisses and all that. #nohomo

THE UK IS SCHEDULED TO REMOVE IT'S BAN ON #BITCOIN ETFs THIS WEEK

WORLD'S 6th LARGEST ECONOMY

Wow!! The UK has set a timetable for lifting the ban on #BITCOIN ETFs, this is certainly a very positive step, it will create a new wave in the global market, where more institutional investment will increase. However, the UK has really taken a positive decision, now it's time to see which country is next. Grin Grin Wink

@LFC_Bitcoin

The $150k is not longer a much of a target....
Did you make any new discovery while I was away because $125k today seems like $24k apart is too small to be touched.

witnessing post once more of low coins on exchanges and supplyshock incoming

will this be the first supplyshock to witness ?
I don't know if there is any way to estimate the liquidity of the largest CEXs, but given that the influence of miners has become minimal and that ETFs buy far more than CEXs can replace, it is obvious that at some point there must be a supplyshock. However, somehow I have the feeling that there are still too many BTC on the market and that considering the price, the quantities being bought are no longer as large as before.

In addition, we still have about 1 million unmined BTC, of which just under 800 000 will be mined in the next 5-6 years, and the last 210 000 will remain for the next 100+ years. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that only then could we see real supplyshocks - unless central banks enter the game and start buying like drunk billionaires.

By the way, considering that most spot BTC ETFs use the custodial service of a well-known CEX, all these coins actually just move from one wallet to another, but remain in the possession of one and the same company.

To the extent that third parties are not overly creating paper bitcoin (and we know that some paper bitcoin are being created), then the price is going to just adapt to supply, so I have been having my doubts that there would be any exact shock, even though surely only so many folks are willing to sell and to put new supply onto the market through their selling.. so if the price suddenly doubles, it seems to me that supply is going to come available.

Regarding your last point, surely the custodian (Coinbase or whatever) is going to end up in BIG trouble if they don't have the coins that they claim to have... surely a honey pot.
~snip~

I understand that it's easier for someone to say "buy, hold, sell BTC for me", but I wonder if these big companies even understand how much risk there is in custodial services? In case something goes wrong (hacking or discovering that CB doesn't have as much BTC as it claims to have), do you think that will lead to CB, Black Rock and some other companies simply deciding to fork BTC?

@charliebilello

Gold (+48%) and Bitcoin (+31%) are the top performing major assets so far in 2025. We’ve never seen these two in the #1/#2 spots for any calendar year. $GLD $BTC

If you are asked what asset would you prefer between the two? Gold or Bitcoin?
You can also state your reason but I guess, you will want to go for Bitcoin...you have a reason?!

AND HAPPY BITCOIN NEW ATH  Cool Cool

Maybe we will go high enough for me to open the 130.1 proof jack today or Monday.

Sold more copper wires on Sat.

I am prepping more wires for a Monday sale.

All the copper cash means I can continue my mining stack and hold play.

I really want to see the 4 year cycle stretch to 5 or 6 years.

Time will tell. This means A 2026 ATH and then a 2027 ATH

Fingers crossed..

You really have been lurking here for a while, Hottiek. Or did some scrupulous homework.

I have been here almost since the beginning. I also have a weird photographic memory... The name changed for "reasons," but yeah, I am glad to be back. I luv to shitpost. And even more, I am really looking forward to using some of these cornz! Now just to figure out what to upgrade first!

I do have to admit these are all endgame plans, and I have moved the goalposts a few times already as stated, but again, maybe I am not orange-pilled enough myself. As really we are still early, and even if I can't honestly fathom the fact that we still have 10x just to match gold, and that was always just a stepping stone to the true endgame... I feel like I am holding on to a full city block in the prime location of Manhattan... I sold a few low-end bodegas for pennies on the dollar just to afford to eat, but that's the real question I am asking... I have no trust to create, no family to take care of... If I can't possibly spend it all already, what am I holding onto it for? I really need to figure out how to not be so cheap, as... well... I can't take it with me!!
Definitely good problems to have tho!

They have some language in their ETF contracts stating that in the case of a fork, they reserve the right to choose the "legit" branch to follow.

However, I don't think they have the power to fork btc alone. We've seen something like this happening with the blocksize wars. Holders, miners, nodes - there's kind of a balance of power at play here. If they do fork and their fork doesn't get validated by a sufficient number of nodes, it's going to be hard to uphold that in court. I doubt they want to come to that. Just a hunch from a non-expert in game theory, a non-lawyer; rather, a holder with skin in the game, so not really objective probably, but still.
