I like how everybody disregarded that 50000 BTC auction that is about to happen in approximately 48 hours. I'm so impatient to see the post dumpage that i've been sleeping alot lately.

you should try both young padawan  Grin

just joking kids - drugs are bad  Roll Eyes

Only if you get addicted.
Recreational use is great.

I see the bears came out for a brief moment before f-ing of sharpish!

Edit: 5400 coins to 300.

Smiley

Those guys aren't bears, they're just trolls. I seriously doubt any of them have any BTC. Their lives seem to be a pitiful obsession with pissing on one particular bonfire.

Always buy a boat smaller than you think you can afford. It will usually prove you wrong... And it's about the time of year to have mine serviced again. :/

I'm tempted to think about something around 30ft. I think that would be a nice size for just messing around in.

Kind of takes the shine off what we're trying to do here.

I'm sure many here could manage one of those right now. I assume they're dreaming of private subs, brigs filled with willing 'chickens' and lashings of nasty gold everywhere. No matter what happens I'll stick with the occasional ferry trip.

Why would you want to buy a boat?
How many times a year are you going to be out on it?

Just hire one as & when you need it.

I'd be City hopping not cruising around if we went to the moon.

Hence why I don't have one. It does get tempting from time to time though.

Counter question: "Why do most people (mostly) trust their governments?"

Now that is a question worth asking!

Because they chose their government.

Edit: Or as Oda said.
They don't chose their government in the sense they chose their doctor or internet provider. Obama is your president whether you like it or not. You are subject of the state and it's laws whether you like it or not. And you cannot opt out.

So, they don't chose their government, but they do trust it. Why?

a) Indoctrination, for the first 20 years of life. Would a teacher in a a state-sponsored and state-regulated schools / university teach you that state shouldn't be trusted?

b) Self-delusion. We can't live in an unjust world. Since we can't change the world, we change our world picture.
We persuade ourselves that state is not stationary bandit, but public servant. Not wolf, but shepherd.

Because they have a better understanding of what a democracy is than you do.
It's not that easy to have worse understanding of democracy than an average person has. But keep trying. Smiley

is this the last batch to be auctioned off? if so, id also expect them to announce that they payed way over market price for them.. 1) because we are in the middle of bull run 2) btc will sky rocket so when they launch trading on their new pink sheets exchange, they will get way more for the bitcoins.. easy money..
