Why in the world would you sell your bitcoins during a bull run?
Because you've ended up with over 90% of your net worth as bitcoin and you ought to diversify?

Stick your money into property (real estate) & bitcoin. Why the hell would anybody leave significant savings in fiat banks. The interest rates are criminal.

The only people who keep all their wealth in the bank are the same people who, alternatively, keep all their money in their pocket -- the poor people.
Money wasn't made to be hoarded, it's meant to be used.

I have an immensely important question I want to ask since I was just told something, why does the price move the way it does?it goes up by 10-20$s then completely stops. And how much does it take to make it to 10$s plus?

So what is next? The trend reversal is confirmed and we are in the bull trend again...but i can't imagine going to take out ATH without final solution to the blocksize limits...sw is great, but it still didn't resolve the visa-like scaling issue...

What do u think?

World need to see evidence, that btc will fix its future issues and limits and that there is no need for altcoins / altchains

Ask not what your coin can do for you, but how you can help pump the coin.

Willybot v2.1 is programmed to take it easy, slightly raising in small % increments so as to not piss off the central banky and Wall St. invest0rz. Last time the rally to $1,200.00 a lot of individuals lost $ and complained. The parameters have been adjusted. Is a lion very noticeable while stalking it's prey? No. Only when it's too late does the lion strike with a giant leap up. Take a look at this:

It's like priming an engine before you start it. You have to get a little fuel in there before you open her full throttle.

For the time being, we are in the "WTF DID I JUST BUY?! DAMN YOU ILLUMINATI!!" stage as seen in EX.1:

EX.1

A bunch of people watching charts and trends, some trend analysis guide somewhere says that when this or that pattern evolves, then the price will go up a lot or down a lot.

All of these people see the trend form and get their trigger finger ready. When the first guy jumps, everyone else piles on. People leveraging long or short, etc.

They stop where the trend patterns say they should stop. Then they sit back and watch for the next trend triggers.

I'm not convinced the majority of Bitcoin users would be running full nodes even if the resource cost were 0. It's just not worth the hassle for most, unless the userbase consisted almost solely of idealistic cypherpunks.

Exactly. My experience was, I ran bitcoin-qt for a bit but didn't really want it running all the time so it was annoying when it had to catch up so as soon as I had a lightweight wallet on my phone, I used that instead for the most part (importantly, I still maintained control of my keys). Now I am doing development against bitcoind so I run it full-time on my Linux server.

The takeaway is that people will run a full node when it is beneficial to them. For better or worse, there is no direct financial reward for doing so. There *are* other benefits for a casual consumer running a node but for the most part, people don't care about that. Running full nodes was never going to be ubiquitous and Satoshi himself acknowledged that.

Because that's how natural, organic growth works. Natural, organic growth is pretty much defined by explosive price/volume spikes apropos of nothing, with microsecond coordination across all major exchanges. Think shitty, ringy square wave on a scope with a bad ground lead. Anything else is price manipulation.

i loooove coming here and having people to share the euphoria with.

i know no one irl who gives a flying shit about bitcoin.

i'm all "isn't it great?!?"

one friend has been saying the following phrase to me since january 2013:

"i really need to get some bitcoins"

I usually give $5-10 worth to anyone I know who seems interested.
