No one wants to comment the price and the fact that we're pushing this fucking red cliff hard? Vitalik, along with other investors will need to make regular dumps to sustain development. The warning sign was all the spam we were seeing promoting ether and indicating a manipulated pump occurring to prepare for the dump. It will be interesting to see what Sergio Demian Lerner turing complete scripting softfork for bitcoin does to ethereum as well. It won't directly compete with Ethereum abilities but make much of it redundant and unnecessary. Wait. Wat?? I thought this was a bad idea? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=431513.20Too long in this shit to see hype and pump pretty clear...ETH is still in alpha...there was no reason for the price increase except pure speculation

Has something happened with Ether or why people would be jumping from there to bitcoin suddenly? Sorry for the question, not really interested investing in other cryptos so I have no idea.

Nothing happened to it to start the price rise and nothing happened to it to end it. Speculators speculated. ETH itself just sat there doing its thing all along. It's happened a million times before and will again.

There is a whole bunch of ether (over 77 million!!!) ready to get dumped on the market. I expect a slow and steady capitulation of ether from here because Vitalik needs to keep operations running , and early investors want to jump in Bitcoin because of FOMO on the next bitcoin appreciation bubble that is likely to happen this year..

Bah, speculation that's all. Some people bought a lot of eth, then spammed the world so everyone thinks eth is uddenly great then the big first ones sold everything. That's all, pump and dump nothing more.

going over 420 will inevitably lead to new highs, my best guess is 760 within 3months, but breaking 420 has some technical significance, and so...
THE NEXT 24HOURS ARE CRITICAL

What is that, some sort of BTC derivative? Can I sell them actual BTC @$512? GBTC is a "wall street fund" the fund holds the BTC's for you, and allows poeple "sophisticated investors" to easily get their monies into this market. 100$ + monthly fees is a hell a premium for what it offers, then again, if you don't have a clue, you're better off paying this premium Vs losing all your coins due to stupidity. no you cant freely exchange BTC and GBTC if your looking for the most out of your BTC, sell on ebay they're going for over 600$

BTC basics would want to sink substantial sums into it (at a premium + monthly management fees), but, apparently they do. So many things confuse me lately.

So many things confuse me lately. if all you want to do is buy bitcoin so to sell months later, this isn't a bad option, this market will likely hold its premium so buy at 512$ pre coin when stamps says 412, and sell 1050$ when stamps says 760$....

Smart contracts will burn Ethers to avoid looping. How will Rootstock handle it?
