I panic dumped right at the bottom, then had to buy back after it became clear it was all bull. I'd never have panic dumped if it wasn't for all the Satoshi lies.
By "panic dumped," you mean sold for (at most) $12 lower than current spot? Well, you know what they say about weak hands...

I was hodling no matter what happened to the price, then Gavin announced Craig Wright had proved he is Satoshi. I panic dumped right at the bottom, then had to buy back after it became clear it was all bull. I'd never have panic dumped if it wasn't for all the Satoshi lies.
Seriously, what was your rationale for dumping? Come on, if Satoshi really was Craig Wright it would have started a dump down to the pits of hell. You could see it starting, then stopping when people started to digest all the information and realise there was no proof.

LOL silly humans, how can you not see that this is the EXACT REASON why he just didn't move BTC1MM. Don't know if he is/not Satoshi but he's at least smart enough to prevent a bunch of people reacting like poncom. Give out news one cryptic bit at a time and let the market digest it. Also, some people gain notoriety by discovering planets, and some by burning churches. His life would probably change dramatically.

So you panic-sold because you thought others would panic-sell, in a sense trying to move faster than them and profit. Makes sense as you say it, the only part that doesn't make sense is the lack of a fundamental reason to panic sell in the first place, other than herd behavior and market-trader addiction to news that "have to" move the price upwards or downwards.

Well it would be nice if he didn't back out of giving his "cryptic" news out, and decided to carry through. He's backing out saying "He's not strong enough" and we can assume he has no evidence to support his claims if he starts to exhibit this sort of behaviour. It would be easy enough for him to send a signed message from the wallet and verify himself that way, and he wouldn't have to back out and leave his claims.

AAAAANNNNNNDDDDD scene I'm Sorry.
I believed that I could do this. I believed that I could put the years of anonymity and hiding behind me. But, as the events of this week unfolded and I prepared to publish the proof of access to the earliest keys, I broke. I do not have the courage. I cannot.
When the rumors began, my qualifications and character were attacked. When those allegations were proven false, new allegations have already begun. I know now that I am not strong enough for this.
I know that this weakness will cause great damage to those that have supported me, and particularly to Jon Matonis and Gavin Andresen. I can only hope that their honour and credibility is not irreparably tainted by my actions. They were not deceived, but I know that the world will never believe that now. I can only say I'm sorry.
And goodbye. http://www.drcraigwright.net/homepage.jpgNo-one ever saw this coming Almost sounds like a suicide letter..... What a phoney and a drama queen.

Whether his dick is that big or not, it seems likely that he has either been using the large super computer to attempt to crack private keys (and Satoshi's specifically) or to engage in other scams to make appearances and maybe to swindle and or blackmail folks. Potentially, he could have made decent money on this latest announcement; however, it may not have worked out so well, if the market did not drop as much as he (they) were hoping. I am not really into attributing malevolence to people, but this guy is really building a case for himself - accordingly, he doesn't sound like a very well-intended dude.

Joseph Vaughnperling not giving up: I also have a message for Dr. Wright from the trustee of the Tulip trust that is controlling the coins that he wants to move. Not yet announced: “The Tulip Trading Trust trustee, appointed by Dave Kleiman as of Oct 12nd 2012. It has been rumored that Craig Wright will need to access Tulip Trading Trust assets. Trustee acts in the interest of the beneficiary alone and must defend against undue influence by others. In order to authorize movements of trust assets the beneficiary must come forward and make a direct request of the trustee our way–NOT via 3rd party nor any intermediaries. Any coin movement affecting the trust asset without prior authorization will be considered a trust violation and invalid irrespective of any claim of constructive bailment. The Trust alone has control over its assets. Tampering or manipulating with trust assets by anyone (including the beneficiary) might have material legal and tax implications. Beneficiaries are invited to a conference call 12:00 UTC Friday to discuss interests. Principals only.” https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/satoshi-saga-continues-tulip-trust-trustee-expected-to-appear-by-september-says-joseph-vaughnperling-1462467803?q=%20&hPP=5&idx=articles&p=0&is_v=1

But what's the point? Do you know or care who created Internet? So for better or worse Wright is milking that need to know feeling as much as he can. Personally think it's better because it gradually confirms the fact, rather than the alternative of suddenly seeing those coins moved, you are satisfied and feel good about yourself, other like poncom short the hell out of BTC, and many will feel a need for guidance from THE Satoshi on all current issues.

Do you know or care who created Internet?
Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn? Or because they worked for DARPA, the guy who started ARPA, Dwight Eisenhower? Way less glamorous than the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto, and much harder to take fake credit.

The guy in the cowboy hat who told it says "trust me" as his only proof. He talks vaguely about third parties who he refuses to name, vague dates he refuses to be specific about, and vague future events that he refuses to be pinned down on. AVW: No offense, but: Why should I trust any of this? Why should I trust anything you say?
JVP: Do your own research. Keep on your quest for knowledge. When you find someone who can teach you, listen carefully. When you find someone that can learn from you, be kind.
AVW: You're skilled at avoiding questions through what sounds like ancient wisdoms.
JVP: You are a reporter, the ancient wisdom is multiple sources, so ... do your own research …

other like poncom short the hell out of BTC, and many will feel a need for guidance from THE Satoshi on all current issues.
Shorting 'the hell' out of btc is not an easy job even for resourceful government actors. There is a strong organic demand for bitcoins. The risk is too big to divest yourself out of a very profitable investment and never get a second chance to get back at the same price level. The 'tulip trust' game is an indication that Craig Wright most probably was a part of the 'Satoshi' group but not among the decision makers.
