why is there such low volume on bitstamp? is there any controversy surrounding the exchange? i used to hold it in the highest regard.
I'm not interested in sending them my bloody tax documents for the honour of withdrawing, not that I have any anyway as I burn all my post. Their support also uses the word 'kindly' when they're trying to get you to spread your legs. I detest the use of this word in that context so they ain't getting any more of my business for that reason alone.

I am guessing you are looking at USD trades. They opened up EUR trades a while ago, before that SEPA deposits were automatically converted to USD.

Ok serious question. Does anyone have an exit strategy here? I mean this is obviously another great Chinese commodity bubble. Remember rebar steel? Hell they just finished blowing up their stock market. This is serious.

Hell they just finished blowing up their stock market. This is serious. I don't see a need for an exit strategy before ATH is broken. It's too risky to try to guess the top or risk that's it's actually an ATH rally and if it's not am ATH rally then the drop isn't going to go that low. Now if ATH gets broken and doubles then I can start thinking about a crash trading strategy

Now if ATH gets broken and doubles then I can start thinking about a crash trading strategy I didn't get a single person admitting they'd bought a coin for $700+ this year. Hard to believe they will be buying $2000 hard enough to double the ATH. People have waited years to hit these levels, you don't normally get second chances like this. Once the euphoria is so strong that you're dancing around the room... it's probably time to start tip-toeing towards the exits.

There's no selling strategy while a bull trend is still in force on the daily timeframe. During this time there is only a buying strategy in which leverage is used to buy on sharp drops on various timeframes and stops just below the entries.

after this little skirmish i'm thinking straight up to 850ish.
7 or 14 days of this kind of action and we'll at 3000$
What will make btc increase so quickly and to 3k in your opinion? I'd love to see that. because of various factors, price has been held back for a long time, bears and early adopted have sold out on the low due to some very convincing FUD, they fucked up, and bulls also fucked up by not buying more when the FUD was strongest, now that the FUD appears to have been unjustified and all the bears are dead, we are free to float up to a more reasonable price. a price rise to 3000$ isn't a bubble it is a correction.

So how did you handle the last bubble? At what point did you start selling? "Bubble", you mean in 2013? There were two giant red candles from $1250 to $800 (double top) and the 1D MACD crossed down and somehow I managed to miraculously sell moat of my coins at $950 and make lots of good volatility trades during the crash.

Bitcoin is just bouncing around, as it has been doing for the past 2 years. Bitcoin is stuck with all possible evolution made impossible, a victim of its own success.
Some people will sell good alts and use fiat to attempt to catch the 15% rise left in this period, while missing out on the 100%+ you can get on active and evolved alts.
