We saw days like these over and over again, don't worry action will come. There's a bit of fun and enjoyment happening in the altcoin world at the moment. Let it be, let's just recap where we are. Coindesk data 1 week -4,62 $ -0,80% 1 month -7,03 $ -1,21% 3 months +18,48 $ +3,33% 1 year +346,05 $ +152,22% So, let's not forget that: if last year you would have bought 1 BTC now your BTC value would be 152% higher. Think ahead Good morning Bitcoinland.
No change... $580 on Bitcoinaverage.
When this thing finally breaks, it should be fun to watch. In the meantime, yawn.
Ahhhh, good things come to those that wait Oh yes pal! Found my phone LED blinking yesterday with the green colour: I said gooood. That was my price ticker going up to $600. So where do we go from it now? I said some weeks ago that we had to wait for the summer to end to see some more fun. And it will come.

sustained 11% could block the soft fork segwit rewrite indefinitely... bullish
... little people with little dreams of little victories and little futures. independent people, with big dreams, relishing small victories, dedicated to a larger future, a future where Blockstream will have to compete, rather than co-opt... Do you always talk that much bs? Segwit is coming and will be implemented!!Like it or not! And the overwhelming majority is supporting it!Because it is the right thing to do! Blockstream just does what the people want.Keeping Bitcoin decentralized and making it better, more secure and faster. But properly, withhout rushing things through! Maybe sooner or later you might be able to see this as well as you don't play with a ~$10billion network!!

Actually old trees are pretty much done when it comes to soaking up carbon. New trees soak it up quite a bit as they grow. Clearing out old trees and planting new is good for the planet.
I don't know where you get your information from Elwar but it scares me you work anywhere near weaponry. Old trees sequester far more carbon than young ones. http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v507/n7490/full/nature12914.html"large, old trees do not act simply as senescent carbon reservoirs but actively fix large amounts of carbon compared to smaller trees" Also, geographic location plays a part - older trees in the tropical region sequester far more carbon than younger trees. And guess where we are cutting down trees at the most rapid rate. The tropics. You might just be my new best friend.. ... The world is a big careless, clueless, ignorant bubble trapped in its own reality filled with sadism. And no one seems to care if they have breathable air in the future... They are also destroying those coral reefs and those algae zones that produce oxygen because they say the smell is bad for tourism.. The world is a terrible place... I'm thinking of making my own space station??.. like the one in Elysium...

unlikely... they will lower the bar for activation to 89% if 11% is trying to block the sotf fork

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Yesterday we finally got the upward break we'd been expecting after all these weeks of sideways.
Today it's inched up a little more. Over $600 on most exchanges, $610 on Bitcoinaverage.
Are the summer doldrums over at last?

It seems to look like that. July, August and beginning of september are always boring months due to summer holidays and so on. I think from now on we can expect more price action again. $700 will be back soon imo!

Some people say shit coins (synthetic Bitcoins) work 1000X better than real Bitcoins, but it sounds suspicious to me. These synthetic trees capturing carbon 1000X better than real trees sound similarly suspicious to me.

Heh, I guess I shouldn't have stuck my opinion into a religious debate.
I'm sure you'll find whatever government studies to back your beliefs. I don't argue with religious fanatics that can quote scripture for anything I might say so I'll leave you to your beliefs.
As I always tell my global warming friends that start preaching...
Once your solution to global warming does not involve giving the government even more power, then I'll start taking the "science" seriously and look at the data. Until then, I'll sit on the side of skepticism.
