I'm not exactly sure, but i thought the dump seemed to be initiated from the west. I was watching Bitstamp at the time, and it started dropping first.. OKCoin followed afterwards.
Or i could be talking complete bollocks..
I just caught that think about the PBoC meeting and so on. I don't think it's any reason to worry. Still, not nice seeing sudden downward moves like that!
I think it's just the usual "sell the news" reaction.. we'll be back climbing inside next 24 hrs or so. $1100 & €1000 in next 72 hrs. Lets see.

I've just compared OKCOin and Stamp on a 1min chart.. move started in West first
And from what I'm looking at Finex went ahead of Stamp.. Stamp followed, China followed that.. because by that stage we were seeing big red dildos all over.
Looks to me like it started at Finex.

The gold market has been functioning like this but on bigger scale for ~2 decades. |

It is not fake news, it is PBOC routine meeting with Chinese major bitcoin exchanges. And the news is released in Sina, which is the biggest Chinese news website. It cited Bloombreg's insider released the source. |
