THAT 1000BTC wall was just eaten.
Impossibruuuu!
Didn't you understand? This wall was manipulation! You can't just go and eat him!  Cheesy

Of course you can eat a manipulation wall, if you do it in one big bite.  Tongue  This wall was acting different however, and I am pretty sure he just wanted to sell, though he could have made several more thousand if he wanted, not smart.

Someone bought out the lower wall.

Brand new 15K BTC ask wall appears at 130.

Result on bid/ask spread:

Doubtful at this point. The $9M missing from the bid side should make any dumper fearful.

As I'm completely new to this, does that mean the price will go up or down? Down more?

Near all time high??   Since you joined in March, yes, it is at it's highest.   Bitcoin has been around longer than the 15 day chart however, and we are nowhere near the all time high for asks.

I think we're heading back up a little for the short term. No idea for the long term.

I know my last prediction was wrong (rally this week) and I feel like a hurt bull, bleeding. But I really got a feeling the lower this drops the harder the rally will be. Starting next Wednesday, maybe even on the weekend (!!). Just my feeling, which is recently usually wrong.

Why do I feel this way. That drop.. it just doesn't feel right. Just the many holidays plus silkraod offline plus panic doesn't quite explain it. Even if, those are temporary effects.

Whatever: don't miss the train, don't trade on emotion. Take a walk. (shit, I should listen to this advise for once).

boom. this

Someone mentioned they'd like to see 3d charts a while back so I had a try to see how they'd look. 2 hours ago:

Last hour:

Obviously, it's a work in progress. Thoughts?

Nice did you code it yourself?
You might want to use polygons to make it look "solid" another thought would be to color code the age of the orders.

Nice work, very cool  Wink
How big a step would it be to animate this so we could visibly see walls moving in 3D ? That would be ubercool
Dare I say it, but it would be bit like a ripple  Wink

Yeah, I can tweak the angle but it's not quite as smooth as I'd like right now. I had to fiddle with it quite a bit to have it look halfway decent and I think I need to rewrite my equations a bit but it wouldn't be terribly hard.

All hand-written in Perl Smiley I thought about the polygons but they would hide data behind. Not sure if semi-transparent would be a possibility. I also have some ideas for other options also Smiley

I tough i was going to insert an ask at 107 but i was actually doing a bid, with limit at 107... So, i clicked the wrong button. Buy instead of sell. Guess what?
I started this micro-rally, alone. I brought the price to 105.79986, and now it is next to 108.

And i'm no-one.

WTF?
