Well I just sold a bitcoin for some pocket cash. $1980 a coin net, BLAH. However the machine only offered me $580. Bearish.... Then 10 minutes later I got a text from the owner. "Would you like more money?" "Sure, another $1400 would do.". "Oh we have that in the machine we'll free it up for you..." Guy got seriously cheap coinz. BULLISH! As for the rest...  |

Some reasonable support around 2k, but below the orderbook is tiny, then the drop probably will be quick.
The orderbook doesn't seem tiny to me and I'm bearish. And I'm sure, at least for your mother's part, that it's fortunate you studied biology.

The only real limitation is the R&D cost to develop an ASIC. Plus, the risk that If one were developed, they'd just change the algo again and make the effort worthless. However, if they tried to change the algo with Bitcoin, some entity like Bitmain or Bitfury would just develop one on the DL and make every effort to obfuscate this fact when they start putting the farms online to recoup R&D cost and then profit. Also, the risk of Bitcoin changing the algo is much less than Monero, I believe. The Bitcoin community can't even get everybody to be on the same page to address the scaling "issue." How much squabbling would an algo change create? |

Um I have a theory for the latest correction. Yesterday I read about the busting of AlphaBay and at least one of their admins. The article went on to say that they averaged around 600~800k in sales daily which in my head is a daily support of some 500k. Can this have some correlation with the price or not? I mean getting half a million dollars off table every day is something.
The fact that the biggest dark market on the net shuttered and the administrator suicided in Thai jail didn't happen in a vacuum. That's for sure. |

What kind of fool would do that? Silver is at cost of production or even below it for some miners. Silver is a far better buy than BTC. Next metals bull run will probably be gold $3000-3200, silver $90-120. If there's some type of big economic event or lots of printing, gold $5000-ish, silver $166-$200. If they're forced to revalue gold entirely in one act, gold will be set to $10-20k and silver will be astronomical. |
