Oh god they're back ... where is it you guys all go to get schooled/programmed with your lies and disinformation bullet points? You're like goddammned bots. .... visions ... blah-bla-blah ... core limiting bitcoin .... derp-herp-burp ..... core-centralised ... blah-blah-bleep-bop.
Since they finally got their altcoin to waste in coffee what are they still doing here? I propose an autoban for any altcash evangelist.

In Spain it is also possible to acquire residency (for the owner and direct parents) buying real state for more than 500.000€ (no mortage) and coming at least once every six months.
As a Brit who spends vast amounts of time lurking in Europe I might have to end up bloody doing this unless there are some key assassinations.

Thailand is cheap, is not FUCKING COLD and has some of the best food in the world. Also, bargirls.
Besides the obvious, I'm very curious to see if I can make enough money trading bitcoin with the locals to pay for the stay. If so, why would I not live in a high quality hotel in a great country instead of a far more expensive apartment in a frozen wasteland?

Hmm. I think I'd have to stop off in Thailand first to purchase some 'chickens' to accompany me to the Spanish consulate to perform notarised a happy ending when the time arrives.

I love it, it's the same reason I went into bitcoin. But, at the moment, CORE does not represent that vision. Core is limiting the use of bitcoin exclusively to offchain transactions. Just watch your reaction to the Segwitx2 deal. Core represents centralized power, and does not respect community consensus.

We are here to talk to you about Satoshis vision, do you have a few moments? Please excuse me. I've committed sacrilege, apostasy. I've profaned CORE name with my blasphemies. I've violated the holy rule of not speaking against your spiritual leaders! I'm sorry. Seriously, could you show me where the disinformation is? And since core fills your mouth talking about decentralization, can you explain how the LN transactions will be processed in a decentralized way?

Yeah, if this Brexit bollocks doesn't go away I think I'll be surrendering my UK passport for a Spanish one. Is the 500.000€ property purchase thing for all non-Europeans @bitserve?

We are here to talk to you about Satoshis vision, do you have a few moments?[moderately funny meme omitted] Thought I remembered something from a very solid thread a while ago... I am almost certain that if Satoshi had originally coded a block limit doubling every 2 years along with block reward halving every 4 years then this would never have been discussed or even pondered in so much questionable detail. People would be like, "Oh yeah, that's the way it works, let's just deal with now". [...]
Quick recap maybe of what caused that 180 degree turn of opinion, both on the block size issue itself, and the disdain for people citing Satoshi?

So I'm heading off to thailand fully paid for by the free coins tomorrow, and I need a new suitcase. I'm thinking pink for easy visibility, but maybe an ugly yellow would work too. Thoughts?
Yeah... Why would someone go to Thailand instead of Las Vegas? The fuck would I do in vegas except go broke? Thailand is cheap, is not FUCKING COLD and has some of the best food in the world. Also, bargirls. Besides the obvious, I'm very curious to see if I can make enough money trading bitcoin with the locals to pay for the stay. If so, why would I not live in a high quality hotel in a great country instead of a far more expensive apartment in a frozen wasteland? Now you can buy residency in Thailand for 5-10 years or longer. I'm willing to bet other countries in Asia start to follow suit. http://uk.businessinsider.com/you-can-buy-elite-residency-in-thailand-for-60000-2017-4Jesus ... it costs a few hundred bucks to get a retirement visa, then a few tens of dollars a year to renew it. These packages do very little more for you unless you really want a work visa(?), lotsa spa appointments, maybe an annual health check etc. Lot of money for bugger all IMO.

I thought decentralization was good? Which part of being ruled solely by a corrupt and incompetent government that's set on doing away with human rights in a move that's going to destroy trade relations and prevent free movement of its own citizens do you consider "decentralization"? Is a Bitcoin miner mining alone in a prison cell with a brutal prison guard, on a processor taken from a Commodore 64 and with no internet connection a more decentralized solution than the whole rest of the Bitcoin network?

Don't forget the economy in SE Asia is booming right now, especially Vietnam. Construction everywhere while citizens are gaining wealth and the new generations are becoming very educated. It's kinda refreshing to be around.

At least it seems many Russians and Chinesse do take it: http://www.elconfidencialdigital.com/dinero/millonarios-conseguido-residencia-comprar-Espana_0_2344565534.htmlBut, a 500.000€ property nowadays is a 1.25-2 mill € property of some years ago when we were at the peak of the real state bubble. So the amount requirement is a bit too high currently as it is probably too much for a secondary residence (I think it doesn't need to be your "home", it can be an investment in several properties for renting or whatever that sum 500K). Oh, there are some additional requirements such as not having criminal records and all that burocracy stuff. I personally know some (rich) Venezuelan families which took advantage of the offer... plus registering companies here that employ themselves so that they can also access to public health system and all that shit.

I did a week in Thailand a few months ago. Great time, beautiful women. Cheap prices. You start to decide whether you want a nicer hotel for $45 or just go with a regular one for $25. Went to one of the islands and spent $200/night on a 5 star luxury hotel with a stairway to the pool right off of my patio on the ocean (sea?). I plan on retiring in January and will go live there. Got a beautiful gf out of the deal as well.
