In my humble opinion, Bitcoin will be at around $1,000 before the month is out. The banksters saw it as a huge threat and bought it for fun with their printed paper at any price pushing it to the heights it reached. Now, they are dumping it all back at cheaper and cheaper prices. This will continue until bitcoin is totally insignificant. The world is run by Luciferians........They didn't get where they are by being stupid. The party is over. They have done much the same thing to precious metals over the last 5 years too. Their printed paper will always rule sadly.
Give me the drugs tonyq. My drug is the red pill....yours is obviously the blue one. Hahahahahahaha Sounds like tonyq is smarter than everyone in the room... NOT!!!!

The sentiment on the forum perplexes me. When its at a high everyone is super bullish and when its down 70% (where there is always a huge bounce) the forum is super bearish. I thought all the super smart bitcoin people here would be better than that.
Good point! It just helps the people in the know to execute the sell high and buy low motto.

Traders in cash I think until next week's Senate meeting with SEC and CFTC. $7600 is an important Fibonacci resistance level. Market needs to get back over $7600 and that could happen next Tuesday if news is good or even neutral.
Ack, seen the same $7600. Current journey seems to even target $4800. This ~ $5000 a rather psychological number. I'm not into kabbalistic, more round numbers style. Curious why SEC or CFTC should have any impact, at all. Most of the action https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets takes place at areas outside of their reach. GDAX + Kraken + Gemini < 10%

"I'm out. Robbing these people is too easy, it's disgusting." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtFyP0qy9XU"It's Just Money." this slowly letting the air outta the tire thing is really annoying. get to the damn floor in one big mega crash and get it over with already fer chrissakes.
There's far less money in a mega crash. Controlled demolition is where it's at. You can't buck the trend, but you can rape it good.

You don't have to be a drama queen in this thread to be "smart." Lots of people are quietly HODLing and not getting into the drama. Those are the really "smart" ones. and then there are those engaged in double reverse inverted psyops

We aren’t down 70% yet. We are only down 65%. You can read the volumes as well as anyone here. What story are the volumes telling you at $6900 right now?

Im just so numbed to this after 5 years I dont care what the bears say. Who cares IF it goes down another 15%. Itll be back at these levels instantly within minutes of the bounce never to go below them again for months, before the rally to 12K. And the volumes are the biggest since november, unless you are looking at 3D or 1W. The huge volume spike you are looking for can actually happen on the way UP like in July. At this point Im playing the macro chart where it was just at 20K and not microanalyzing the smaller trends.

Why does it still not feel like we had a bloodbath? At three digits I get worried. Everybody is expecting it will go up soon but bitcoin mostly does the opposite. Let's see how deep we go and if it ever will come back.

Why does it still not feel like we had a bloodbath? Try asking someone who got in during December on the recommendation of some dweeb in the corner of their computer screen. They may have a different feeling.

I think that my maintenance stage has become more and more refined, but I don't think that my skills caused the refinement but instead the fortune of our most recent exorbitant price rise from $2,600 to $19,666... .. but yeah, we are back in the doldrums of $8k-ish, but did not stop me from feeling a certain level of comfort from maintenance refinement. When we get to $100k (assuming we do at some point - perhaps less than 5 years? perhaps?), then I will likely develop even a more "refined" perspective regarding the significance of maintenance.
I can't help imagining you as you build the phrase and deliver it in a rhythmic deep baritone with hints of Spanish accents. A cigar and your favorite drink are all the props needed for the scene. (lots of snip snip) Without conceding any truth of the matter asserted, perhaps reasonable claims can be made that money causes changes in the way each of us carries ourselves, whether in the real world or online? That does sound likely. But you haven't told me what your favorite drink for such a speech would be! I may have to become a bit more cultured with the passage of time, but movie imagery of a piña colada, a beach and a machine gun within reach comes immediately to mind. I have a few other ideas (such as hookers, blow and a lambo too), but I don't want to muddy it up too much
