Seems like nobody cares about the wall at 140. No bids piling up front it or no sells to it. Wall effect has faded.

Maybe everyone's just waiting for everyone else to push the price past $150

their some action going on!

the 140 wall has forced some bids to pill up in front of it, this made people jumpy and new walls where spotted soaking up bits in the 142-143$ range

What? Lol.

Do you mean an bid wall appeared and it was sold into? I see a ~800 volume a few mins ago. Looked like a market buy to me but are you saying it was not?

If there will be no correction drop, they made the right move, but I'm not sure where we are going yet.
Anyway, if there is going to be a drop, this tiny push up has delayed it a bit.

maybe it started off as a market buy, but i saw a wall at 142.5ish get sold into.

someone was clearly in a hurry to get coins.

someone else appears to be in hurry to unload coins.

and the saga continues!

That makes more sense. I thought when I saw 800 coin buy not take the price over 143, it didnt make sense. I'd imagine something like 400 bought -> 400 wall.

I propose changing the title to this to: Wall Observer - MtGox $140 USD Watch - Softcore

How about... "Whale Observer"

Sorry to be offtopic, but I saw somewhere back a screenshot from a linux command line (looked like) interface for monitoring bid depth on Gox. Looked nice, pretty simple/basic, looked like it was command line with buy and sell walls in green and red. I've been googling but I can't seem to figure out what it was (or find the post) any tips? I've got a dedicated linux box now running as a node and would be great to have Gox wall running on top of it.

It's not only a monitoring tool but it can also be used as a trading bot.

That was Goxtool. You can optionally run strategies that buy/sell on it as well.

Thanks! That's great, but actually the screen shot that was posted looked quite a bit different (although maybe it's the same tool) it looked like ASIC almost- the walls were shown as sort of hashed blocks, and there was a link to a youtube video which showed it in action. Sorry, my searching hasn't turned it up yet.

Goxtool is customisable, but if it's not like in this screenshot, then I don't know what you're talking about.
