Thats news from several days ago.
Not really, a few days ago there wasn't any official endorsement so it might have just been few rogue entrepreneuers accepting them. Now we have an official tweet from subway!

Wow, that could be really big considering the number of places it brings a high street presence. What if for instance, Mc D's starting accepting btc?

Wow, I didn't think we would be at these prices this fast again.
I'm all for some wide open throttle but if there's no brakes on that thing it will end up like this: why is my quote in your sig? Just curious...that has to be the last thing I posted here which I would ever expect to get put into someones sig btw I paid for 10EUR worth of subway sandwiches at the peak of the run-up on Monday. Gotta love how I bought those particular coins earlier this year so I kind of think of it as having paid about 1EUR for the whole deal But in fact, I paid around 0.02btc. For three sandwiches and a bottle of soda. Can you believe that? People in 2016 will cringe

Wtf is going on here. The chart looks unnatural like nothing ive ever seen even in bitcoin. When do I sell? I sold just 20% of my coins yesterday as a hedge and on bitfinex I can I have a loss of several grand. Its bugging me out.
I thought you the unassailable king of the day traders who never made a loss? Schadenfreude and tea for breakfast...sorry

I wish I had someone to celebrate $1000 with, but my wife hates bitcoin cos I'm always playing with it. and NOBODY in my social world even knows about it, which kind of excites me. My little secret, my precious....
I'll party on my own.
If you party by selling a few coins, and treating your wife, she may warm up to it . . . And then you would have someone to party with Gasp!!

Any particular reason why the bitcoin price would surge due to merchant adoption? Let's all be honest with each other, bitcoin is still hard as fuck to use for the average person when buying something. Couple that with the volatility and there's just no incentive for anyone to use bitcoin over dollars.
All it would achieve is bring in more speculators who want in on the craze because they think they might make some profit. Yes that might surge the price temporarily, but it would drop just as fast as soon as everyone realizes everyone else is just here to make profits.

If one Subway is accepting Bitcoin and Subways official twitter just posted a story about "hundreds" of people driving hours to support them for accepting Bitcoin how long do you think it will take before they all follow suit?
