Among top ten crypto-currencies (by market-cap), bitcoin still seems the most decentralized.

% of supply owned by the top 100 accounts, standouts:
- Bitcoin 19%
- Ethereum 35%
- Ripple 98%
- Bitcoin Cash 25%
- Stellar 95%
- IOTA 62%
- NEO 70%

Source: https://arewedecentralizedyet.com/

Gotta get rid of my Stellars for sure.

I have remained a bit skeptical of claims that are made based on the holding of crypto's in addresses to prove top owners (because frequently centralized institutions might hold coins that are really owned by a multitude of peeps).  On the other hand, determining level of decentralization seems to be attempting to claim the opposite, yet I am still feel as if I do not have enough information to know whether I trust the arrived at conclusions from such data.

Roach, please, we got it. It's the Jews! Its' always been them. Can we please move along?
thanks

the only way that  demented nutcase will be cease endlessly repeating his perpetual nazi anti-jew, silver worshipping drivel in here
is if/when...
1. he eventually dies
2. bitcoin and/or this thread dies or
3. he gets banned .

my bet is on  option 1
so unless you ignore ...better get used to it....

A couple of years ago, roach was 14, so probably now he is 16 or 17, so he could likely outlive a large number of us, unless his hate causes him to dry up like a little stepped-on cockroach.. wait?

Monero with its opaque blockchain. You don't know who stealth mined in huge quantities and you trust that there isnt an exploit or bug allowing someone to mint any quantity of XMR they like. You don't have a richlist. You can't analyise the blockchain at all, You assume its all good. Yay. Monero. Its name even means something in esperanto. And it has a wallet now

Yep, lacks Masternodes too... Oh noes!

OK, the slow death of Dash must be painful, but the best solution is surely to get out while you still can rather than lash out against another coin for simply being... better?

nice data

I am a player in crypto world.
I am an actor/actress in real world.
Many years later, I will have made many transactions in blockchains which are stored in many computers.
Many years later, I will lie in a grave which locates in somewhere.

Wow, I didn't expect Bitcoins wealth distribution to be that good relative to the other coins. Im not sure if this is too accurate of a number though, many whales have their coins spread out over multiple wallets. But eh, what can you do. Now if only we could get mining more decentralized...

Dash with 14% is the more decentralized, but have less nodes.

Many years later, I will lie in a grave which locates in somewhere.

By the time I'm ready to shuffle off this mortal coil, I'm hoping BTC will have appreciated in price enough, that I can have my corpse shot into space, to be cremated by flying directly into our Sun.

Hook up with Elon, and he will help you to make it happen, including a likely bit of publicity too.

I'm pretty sure Boblawblaw's got quite a few good years left in him.  No need to rush into anything... especially with Musk.  He'd surely want a large government grant, some tax incentives as well as a left nut for such a stunt.

In other news, the people of Hawaii just don't fkn get it. When mother nature gets a rollin', she ain't gonna stop until she reaps major havoc first. It doesn't just end in a week or two because humans think it should.

Little known fact: The people of Pompeii had weeks, months of warning *exactly* like what is happening now on on Hawaii's Big Island.

GTFO now, people.

Yes, it's a privacy coin that's actually private, unlike DASH - the Bcash of privacy coins.

Why do I have this awful feeling like we're going below $9k again...

I blame Bill Gates.

Asshole.

Why do people pay attention to those old people? Bill gates almost missed the Internet, now he is going to miss blockchain and crypto.

Look at this nobel prize winner, one more genius.

+1 WOsMerit's for all the post's on the last page.
You guys are so eloquent. Kinda puts me to shame with my feeble attempts. You are not in the minority kurious...not at all.

Nothing terribly new..just a few things that indicate upwards movement soonish. I expect to see a lot of those upward diagonal accumulation bands as the year progresses. #dyor
Broken support at .236 fib but this might just be a dip into liquidity.
Well..lets see where we stop..thinking $8.85k but I am slightly intoxicated

thanks jojo for the feedback.

Sometimes the things listed on craigslist is amazing...
Never got a response and the ad was pulled shortly after, but this is a slightly redacted email that I sent out when that Falcon9 did a wet landing in Feb.

I hope to have the Dome completed near the base of Olympus Mons by then Bob. Your welcome to a plot of if you like..or going back to stardust is not a bad way really..your choice.
By time I get all this organized I will most likely be to frail to make the trip..fml. Still want to be buried on Mars though.
Well into my cup at this point..think I will see you all tomorrow.

GTFO now, people.

After reading this, I did a search for a song I remembered from years ago which I thought was by Depeche Mode (or Martin Gore) called "Never Turn Your Back on Mother Earth".  I didn't realize it was originally sung by Twiggy ('er a Russell Mael from the band Sparks) à la Edith Piaf singing La Vie En Rose.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haf5s0b--zw

I ended up going down the rabbit hole on this one and it turns out that Russel Mael doesn't even have a French accent!  Non, je ne regrette rien.
