Wanted to watch the fight but I've given up, can't find a link even with kodi.  A merit for your link?

Khabib, Suspended for sure.... wtf....

His style pisses me off, bitch just wants to get his opponent on the floor all the time. That ain’t no fighting for grown men.

The scenes after were a disgrace though, yes.

also don't like the groundfighting too much, but after round 3, i was thinking mcgregor has a good chance of winning the f****** thing , lets hope the too teams of this afternoon playing there known style, accompanied with a little upward momentum.

I have considerable difficulties understanding any kind of investment strategy that buys while an asset is exploding 2x, 5x, 8x, 10x or greater, and then stops buying when that asset is lowering in price.
The strategy you describe sounds unwise indeed.

On the other hand, even if someone's bullish on a particular asset, it does make sense to wait for uptrend confirmation before buying a substantial chunk. In the case of bitcoin, which can explode 10x in short time spans, it's not unreasonable to wait for 2x before feeling confident it's a bull run, even for a medium-long term investor.

On the third hand (or is it one foot?), timing the market reliably is, as we know, impossible.

well...just scrolled back and saw QuestionAuthority fire hosing merit all over the farm.

nice

30 merits for that post?....that was generous to say the least
probably made his (ulrich's) day anyway....

It's a *perfect* post: Concise and to the point. Nothing to argue, I would be thankful if everybody were like that.

In a philosophy class, an essay exam question asked students to explain 'what is risk'?

The student wrote down 'this is' and left the exam.

HD's all round.

This is why a drunk coiner is always better than a bot.

Also I would never trust my money to a bot. I mean cmon. Who puts hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars into a program they probably did not even write themselves? Although once AI becomes a bit more of a mainstream thing... Maybe.

30 merits a word, or ~1.3 merit per letter.

Anyone ever been to Sri Lanka? Any suggestions on stuff to do there?

I'm flying there in the end of October for a couple of weeks, too bad I didn't check the weather before buying the tickets, the end of Oct and beginning of Nov are supposedly the rainiest periods, lucky me! Smiley

If a positive market that is going up is called bull market and a negative market is going down is called bear market, shouldn't a sideways moving market like now be called a "crab market? Things are looking crabbish.

(not as much thankful as QA though... I'm poor.)

Bitserve is not having a very good weekend.  First, he gets hit in the balls by the diverted micpeep weekend pump, and then "this" timing situation.

Woke up and went to check if the crazy bot on Bitstamp had executed some of my ridiculous limit orders I usually leave hanging.... It turns out I had none in that range/pairs anymore. Definitely a meh weekend crypto wise.

Crazy fun in the wedding though, so everything is good  Grin

Now drinking some beer to fully recover from it.
