So basically a whale or company that did not want to take the risk is pulling their money out of BFX the only way they can...through BTC.

Now that same risk adverse whale or company will want to convert back to their precious safe fiat currency on another exchange. Sure they lose money but have less risk. Which also drives the price down on that other exchange.

Conservative stops costed me about 10% profit, but they avoided me a squeeze. Although non fatal, it's still bad for my mood. Short now promptly reconstructed at a higher (better) entry point than it was before.

TL;DR In other words: Volatility isn't inherently bad. Neither is cautious leveraged margin use.

Yes most on 5x or less should have been fine.

Living off the fat of the land is a niche hustle. Don't forget to ladder your approaches.

Is this the coin you are taking about?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/usd-coin/

Assuming it is, then maybe Kucoin has their own vested intenrest in feeding the tether fud.   I just have a hunch that wllet mantance is the best they can do without risking some kind of legal challenge.  All of a sudden that stable coin USDC is worth 1.06 while tether is down to 0.96.

I haven't done enough resaerch to be sure, but how many times have we had the tether line spun?  lets be honest it always drops in a bull run.
