Well, I sold 13 BTC on the low of $3,964.20 or some such....
just enough to live on with my LTC dump next year I also did, and pay the health insurance in advance (in that I'm stalling taking soc security)
and only 63.5 years..this should get me thru end of 2019....w/o working for anybody ever again!!!
this means BTC will pump massively now (you are welcome)
so is it moon yet?

Pity you sell/had to sell @these prices But if it was the thing needed to do Then NP with that and GL man yep....likely all this is moot...with CMC futures at the end of the month and likely ETF denial in a few weeks and folk like me that had a crypto biz and now can only use the coin to stay retired at these prices...taxes due and Xmas etc...hell....4k could be the next average for the next 6 months..hell April 2019 4k after the mt. gox dump may be considered cool beans then but not working for anybody yet..not with 1 year to go till 65 and at worst with a recession I suspect....taking soc sec early in 2020. crypto HODL is nice ....not working for idiots is much better

I think it's kind of disturbing that I'm getting "Bitcoin IRA" advertisements on every Youtube video I click on. I think the price was way fucking higher when I first started seeing them, so it seems kind of irresponsible to be hawking these things on people for retirement.
People that have no idea what a bitcoin is and bought one would be down 80%...not on their gambling money...but on their fucking retirement, like wtf. As if we needed more toxic financial assets for geriatric people. This is definitely not the "early adopter" phase if you're seeing these advertisements everywhere either as some people claim.

What/when is the daily 'closing" in bitcoin?
Thats one of the great things about bitcoin..its never closed. "Most" exchanges usually roll over at 00:00 utc..., in most cases I think.

https://twitter.com/MustStopMurad/status/1066776756756070405A large chunk of people calling for "$1500" right here makes me think a bounce is in order.
We need to give FAUX-bears FALSE HOPE... give them a BULL TRAP which challenges local assumptions, *THEN* destroy them FULLY, crushing their spirits beyond recognition. Then we bottom.

What/when is the daily 'closing" in bitcoin?
Daily candles close at midnight UTC Weekly candles close midnight Sunday night UTC Why UTC time? If the Bitcoin markets are comparable to the forex markets there is no strict daily closing time, but you can use a regional market time like UTC time. https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/05/forexclosingprice.aspThe foreign exchange market, or forex, is the market in which the currencies of the world are traded by governments, banks, institutional investors and speculators. The forex is the largest market in the world and is considered a 24-hour market because currencies are traded around the world in various markets, providing traders with the constant ability to trade currencies. The forex opens at 5pm EST on Sunday and runs until 5pm EST on Friday, running 24 hours a day during this time. But between the Friday close and the Sunday open, the forex market does not trade.
The opening prices for the week are the initial trading prices on Sunday and the closing prices for the week are those of the last trade on Friday. However, over the course of the week, there really are no closing prices for the forex as there is at least one market open at some place in the world at all times.
However, we often hear quotes for the opening and closing prices for currency pairs in the financial media. For example, a news article might state how the U.S. dollar closed down against the Canadian dollar during trading on Wednesday. The price being quoted is the closing price for an individual market within the forex market. There are three main regions - North America, Asia and Europe - and within each there are several forex markets. In North America, the main market is in New York, in Asia it is in Tokyo and in Europe it is in London. There are many other individual markets within these regions that are part of the forex market, and each individual market has an open and close (i.e. does not trade 24 hours a day). The New York market, for example, trades from 8am EST until 3pm EST. In North American media, the closing price will often refer to the closing price of the New York forex market.
While these quotes give financial-media users a sense of the current market, the quotes are not as accurate as the actual current market price. For any forex trader, the best forex closing price to use is the closing price of his or her transaction.
