Ocean Builders has built a spar design seastead over the past several months which consists of a large steel cylinder that sits vertically in the water with a fiberglass platform sitting atop the spar which acts as the living space. The spar was placed into the water on January 3rd and the platform placed in the water a week later in preparation for this event.

maybe not the best question, but elwar? what are you seastead guy's are doing when the sea gets very restless/high waves/hurricane/tsunami etc...?
cause the units are not looking very stable and a little bit on the small side?
just a question out of intrest and cause i'm very low known with all of the seastead living.

I'm wondering how you go on a beer run, also semi serious what do you do with trash?
Excuse me 'investors' is the term not 'trash' and 'leave them high and dry while swiftly rebranding' is the answer. Perhaps this time it's different, though.

If bitcoin is a bee hive:
* Miners = worker bees
* Developers = beekeepers
* Bear Market = Hibernation
* Software Upgrade = new queen being bred
* Hardfork = queen leaves the colony with a part of the hive (swarming)
* Users = people that like honey

If Bitcoin is a new form of religion:
* Code is its scripture
* Satoshi is its messiah
* Full nodes are its shrines
* Maximalists are its priests
* Incrementing nonces is its prayer
* The whitepaper is the word of God

just relax and listen to the Hat(e) wearers. they prefer to speak to each other alone. posts of non Hat(e) wearers are not much worth to them. at any cost avoid to get their attention by being rude to them. you won't survive.

Hmm. You don't sound much like the Gyrsur I know.

 The weird thing is he has a hat and was wearing it.  Who is hating against non hat wearers?  I even made r0ach a hat.  The hats are free and they're also free from hate.  This aggression will not stand.

I deeply apologize for all my mistakes which I did since my creation and keep doing in the future!  Cry

I weared my HOMER HAT with much proud but live is a bitch and I have to earn BTC with this signature campaign in this bear market. I don't want to create an another shitcoin like Richard Heart to survive the bear market. Please forgive me.  Roll Eyes

Yeah I'm still waiting for the okay to switch to my hat, I really miss it but $200 a month is $200 a month that's quite a bit of beer.

The ocean is basically a giant septic tank. Regular boaters empty their tanks too. Don't worry about it.

I don’t care with what they compare it.... if its with religion Then i’m part of that cult, if its for drug addicts Then i’m part of it, if its for alcoholics Then i’m part of it, if its for movie fans Then i’m part of it, if its for democrats/socialists or whatever Then i’m part Of it, if its for fishermen Then i’m part of it

What THEY say CARE’s NO one

What someone for himself thinks thats counting

I just say its for HAT people but who CARE’s Wink

just a question out of intrest and cause i'm very low known with all of the seastead living.

I'm wondering how you go on a beer run, also semi serious what do you do with trash?

Beer run is about 12 nautical miles to the closest 7-11 (this is Thailand, I am sure a 7-11 will pop up here any minute. Maybe 3).
Just had our first visitor yesterday. He brought a case of beer and left with our trash. We polute landfills responsibly like everyone else.

As for major storms, hurricanes, tsunamis...

The highest waves all year might reach 2 meters in the roughest storms. 10 year high is upwards of 4 meters and the 100 year freak wave rating here is 5 meters. We are able to take a 5 meter wave and would likely get a wet kitchen floor but that's it.
There are no hurricanes here and as far as tsunamis which killed thousands of people here about 15 years ago...we are the safest place to be. We would just rise with the swell and go back down without really noticing. Meanwhile everything on the coast gets wiped out.

The whole seastead is able to raise and lower with the press of a few buttons. About a 2 meter range.We are sitting pretty low because the seas are calm this time of year. Worst waves this month are around .5 meters.
