Finding a support level above $3.95k is crucial for a continued rally.

The declining volume, which hasn't been too impressive to begin with, is disconcerting.

All things considered, I might even go short right about now if I was a gambling man.

I used to be a much bigger sports fan, I still watch games every now and then but I was wasting too much time watching sports.  Might life doesn't change in the slightest if my team wins.

I can't prove it but I think you live longer if your team wins. Smiley

Would seem more likely that you live shorter if your team loses. Which is not quite the same thing.

Bears about to get blown out like a cheap sweat shop Nike shoe on Zion's foot.

Montage of Nikes exploding. (Manu, Bogut, Wroten, Gordon, Zion)

Cant help but think that when Bitcoin is the Global Reserve Currency that companies will have to allocate their capital more wisely and maybe 100 million dollar athletes wont risk career ending injuries with their crap shoes. Also when I bet on said athletes team perhaps they might not get blown out by 16 pts at home against a big underdog and cost me a bit of stinky fiat bc their superstar's shoe explodes in the first 30 seconds Roll Eyes

Nike = Perverse corrupt mega corp spawned by decades of money printing induced poorly allocated capital.

So here we are, hovering just below $4000 without the slightest sign of FOMO. Everybody just watching without not fucking idea if it is gonna go up or down next, or what it is going to do after that.

So many possible scenarios... What will it be? Bleh, just let it be.

HODL.

Bitcoin is the equivalent of dating a stripper...first she teases and seduces you...and you wonder...is it all just an act? or does she mean it this time

or poof! is it all a dream? The drama is the same for the BTC mood swing equivalent it seems.

edit:

The price on my Bitcoin ticker as I type this went from to $4,000 USD just now...er crap...just went to $4,028 and now back to $3,981...wtf?

What was that a $4k 3 second breach? bummer...ack! $3,974 someone is dumping it seems.

I think Bitcoin is more like the perfect woman who has done nothing but make you more wealthy but instead of appreciating her you spend years posting mostly fear posts, complaints, bummer posts, etc, and eventually she leaves you(causes you to panic dump her) to make a man with stronger hands wealthy.  Roll Eyes

Why not make negative posts about fiat every week and how it has done nothing for you your whole life but lose purchasing power?

Better it goes to sub $3k. I am not loaded enough yet.   I need it to stay between $2k-$4k for another year at least so I can grab more cheap coins. Then you can send it to $100k. Grin

Omg I just revealed my identity. I was one of those sub 1k voters.  Grin

https://www.longhash.com/news/findings-show-bitcoin-is-completely-legal-in-at-least-111-countries

"According to findings from Coin Dance, there are currently at least 111 countries where Bitcoin is legal. In many others, Bitcoin’s legal status is up for question or the currency is subject to some restrictions.
...
Currently, it says Bitcoin is illegal in only the following ten countries or regions: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Pakistan, Qatar, Republic of Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
...
There are a further nine countries where Bitcoin is classified as “restricted” according to the site. Of these nine, the two most prominent examples are China and India."

ah ..it is less about that and more about basic confusion? and also a lot of this is 'tongue in cheek' ... ie back to confusion...

I'm retired on cypto it is just dandy...but to say the road is straight and whales are not playing price games and to deny the drama (good and bad)

well that is just silly IMHO

my posts are NOT meant to make such a huge effect on folks perceptions..this is the WO thread last I looked.....where everything is gone into the wind

Cryptocurrency Behaviour Study Confirms MetCalfe’s Law Applies to Bitcoin in the Long Term

"We prove, in the medium to long-run, the validity of the Metcalfe’s law (the value of a network is proportional to the square of the number of connected users of the system) for the evaluation of cryptocurrencies; however, in the short-run, the validity of the Metcalfe’s law for Bitcoin is questionable."

The world gold council says this huh? No chance they could be bias now is there?
The more impressive part is they are worried enough to put out this press release

that is what i thought when the ECB published a detailed memo about crypto in 2013. they must be shitting their pants. imho, the fact that there is no headquarter nor CEO of bitcoin (other than the WO thread of course, but they don´t have a clue) is what scares them most.

Will This Vulnerability Finally Compel Bitmain to Open Source Its Firmware?

A few weeks ago, Bitcoin Core contributor James Hilliard discovered an exploit in Bitmain’s S15 firmware.

Hilliard is offering to disclose the vulnerability to Bitmain but under one condition: Bitmain would have to comply to the GNU General Public License (GNU GPL), the popular open source license that the Chinese mining giant is currently breaching, and open source its firmware.
