it could happen...just on a single exchange  

PS the local bull could be easily explained away by btc buying in anticipation of the new miners becoming available for purchase on April 9.
Once this passes, it could correct, but, alternatively, current momentum could build further. Not buying or selling.

O.k.  Fuck.. why do you always have to be so right...  

What I was trying to say was that if the BTC price goes above $5k in this cycle or has some kind of ongoing UPwards, then we are going to need some decent level of corrections along the way.. so perhaps we would need to get close to $6k before the 30% plus correction becomes a kind of necessity?  

remember in late 2015, when BTC price shot up from about upper $200s to $500, and then corrected back down to $300? that was a 40% correction.   And remember in 2017, we had at least 3, maybe even 4 30% plus BTC price corrections.. before the last run up in November/December to $19k?

"Could this be the start of a rally based on tax refunds? It's well known that retails sales benefit from tax refund season. The end of the last bull cycle happened in December 2017. I suspect that a lot of people sold some bitcoin to cover their massive gains at the end of 2017. As we all know, the price was in constant decline in 2018. So, the majority of people probably have losses in 2018. Therefore, less need to sell some bitcoin to cover their taxes and a lot of people are probably able to claim losses which would increase their tax refund. What else to do with your tax refund but to buy some bitcoins? Especially, if the price starts heading up. The next couple of weeks could be interesting."
