Here we go again ?
https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-exchange-coinbene-announces-ongoing-maintenance-while-customers-suspect-hack

"Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbene, ranked 16th on CoinMarketCap by adjusted volume, has announced it is undergoing maintenance on Tuesday, March 26, as the crypto industry discusses rumors that the exchange has been hacked.

The official Twitter account of Coinbene Global, @CoinBene, has responded to a user nicknamed Crypto James, who claims that his deposits have been pending for an hour and insists the exchange has suffered a hack, as the maintenance had not been previously announced.

Coinbene’s reply to his tweet reads:

“In order to enhance the user experience, CoinBene upgraded the platform wallet on March 26, 2019. During maintenance, it will affect related operations such as deposit and withdraw, trading will not be affected.”
...

However, some insiders suggest that the maintenance announcement is a cover for a large hack that might involve up to $40 million stolen. "

Coinbene

I was reading it quick and I was reading Coinbase before I realize it's not Coinbase LOL

By the way, I hear about this exchanges when they get hacked. The Canadian one was the same for me.

Yeah, right!
Pathetic.

What type of wallet was it?

I feel sorry for some noobs but you just can’t help everybody.

- Bitcoin QT (downloadable from bitcoin.org)
- Trezor
- Paper Wallets made on my clean AF virginial PC

The only three things I’ve ever used for large amounts of corn.

The riskies I have done for my coins was using Coinbase and that was long time ago.

I spend most of my time online especially hanging out with crypto related updates.

Lately I have noticed I do not have much idea of a lot of exchanges but when they get hacked it seems like they were around for long time and did good business.

The recent Cryptophia was only known to me before they hacked.

Well, I'll toss this out there..(hopefully, I'm wrong) that we will see sideways action between 3.9k and 4.1k BTC until after the mt.gox shoe drops in May 2019.

That seems to me to be the rope holding the balloon to the ground. I guess it will then come to pass on how many dump their BTC vs those that HODL their BTC

of the 1.25 billion or so USD of BTC...sitting about in mt.gox land.....time will tell I guess.

anyway, tossing it out there..hopefully, it will go to 5k BTC next week and you guys can 'mock' me...(knock wood).

The Coinlab claim means creditors are unlikely to see payday this year. Indeed, if they decide to fight it through the courts, it could takes years before it's resolved.

The only fear is if the trustee decides to sell more coins. He's expressed the possibility of doing this because of the drop in prices.

Wauw the team talk again, starting to understand Cryptotourist’s vision more and more....
I somehow always respect you cause your a true BTC-enthousiast from my personal point of view and IMHO
But i just let things go cause thats who i am, that Said I do understand lot of people finding it annoying that you make Some random claims about other people that are just not right

if that’s the person you chose to be and how you wanna look yourself in the mirror .... Then keep going

If that’s not what you want than change your character around Some people and Some claims you make.

I don’t know if more people gonna agree with me on this ... but its just my own personal thought.

How did google promote it, merely because it was on their platform and their algorithms did not catch it?

Failure to catch a scam before damage is done is not the same as promoting the scam.

We should start mocking you now because single events like (especially uncertain in terms of timing and impact) are not sufficient to hold the BTC's price in our current consolidation range, and there remains considerable uncertainty regarding the GOX date of coin release.

We seem to be in a kind of momentum phase in bitcoin, so direction depends, in part, on creating momentum which can take a decent amount of time to play out (based on multiple events - not just GOX).

Not sure if I'm starting to tinfoil here, but things are starting to make much more sense now.

Karl Carstens was a member of the German SA during the Nazi era. After the war he was the leader of the CDU/CSU. He was also one of the pillars of the European Union and publicly praised one of the founding fathers, Walter Hallenstein, publicly. Hallenstein was also part of some Nazi groups, although according to Wiki he "distanced himself from them", not very successfully considering his connection to a SA member.

Nowadays the CDU/CSU supports the "Rundfunkbeitrag", which steals in a range of 8 Billion Euros annually from German citizens under the guise of independent reporting. Most of the money goes to actors (for TV series) and executives of the ARD. The Rundfunkbeitrag was created by none other than Adolf Hitler, and to this day the ARD appears to be only marginally more objective than it was during Nazi times.

Today the EU passed Article 13, despite a massive public backlash and outcry. And thus brings us right to the edge of a censorship apparatus comparable to Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany. About the Millions of signatures and hundreds of thousands of protesters the CDU only has to say: Paid tech company shills.

I wish the UK the best of luck in leaving this dictatorship that guises itself under the banner of democracy. Any short term damages seem to far outweigh a dictatorship on European scale.

tl;dr EU is at least partially a Nazi-creation and increasingly behaves like a dictatorship.
