An autopsy found that financier Jeffrey Epstein sustained multiple breaks in his neck bones, according to two people familiar with the findings, deepening the mystery about the circumstances around his death.
Among the bones broken in Epstein’s neck was the hyoid bone, which in men is near the Adam’s apple. Such breaks can occur in those who hang themselves, particularly if they are older, according to forensics experts and studies on the subject. But they are more common in victims of homicide by strangulation, the experts said.

Sorry to interrupt, but can someone please let me know if I should be panicking at this point, because, TBH, I'm seriously, SERIOUSLY thinking of just tuning out anything Bitcoin related until after the halvening and just focus on IRL stuff for a while.

Think I'm finally finding a good IRL routine that is keeping me somewhat entertained and productive. Starting to really get the hang of this retirement thing.

Watching Bitcoin tank like it is, just makes me sad. I don't need it until 2021-ish anyway...

Bah. Someone hold me. No homo.

Guix Makes Bitcoin Core Development More Trustless

Quote
Back in 2016, Bitcoin development became a model for the entire open-source community with the integration of Gitian building — a “computer within a computer” framework that let developers verify binary computer files in a more transparent way. But with the recent merging of Guix, which supports deterministic and bootstrappable Bitcoin Core builds, work on the protocol has become even more trustless.

New IRS Warning Letters Target Crypto Investors Who Misreported Trades

Quote
“Basically what it says is ‘hey we have a report from one of the financial institutions you use and the amount they reported to us the IRS is different than the amount you, the taxpayer, reported and this is the amount you owe’ and it’s a 30-day letter meaning you have to respond in 30 days.”

The game “Monopoly” sold for $2 in 1935. In the box, you get monopoly money.

That original stack of monopoly money from 1935 is worth $50 as a collectors item.

Monopoly money literally holds more value than your fiat currency.

Bitcoin’s Surging Dominance – Is This Time Really Different?

Quote
Everything flourishes with a bit of attention – even attention itself.

You may have heard some rumblings recently about the bitcoin dominance rate. This measures the weight of bitcoin in the crypto universe, by taking its market cap as a percentage of the total market cap for all crypto assets. Traders and investors keep an eye on it as an indicator of market preference.

It should surprise no-one that bitcoin is the dominant crypto asset, given its long track record and mainstream media attention. What is setting off alarms is its recent ascent: it is now hovering around 70 percent, a level not seen since April 2017, just before the previous bull market took off.

People held from $20k to $3k but somehow shitting in their pants after a $1k a $2k dump..

We need to stay realistic the price went up with $10k, what we see now is a mini bear market beeing played out.

We return to 4 digits, what is the problem? crisis, recession, political tensions, it doesn't matter

BTC is here to stay, if for you 4 digits is cheap, buy.

Economy moving little slow but no major crisis or recession coming soon on my side of the world. and political tensions here are cute so we are used to it.

What matter most is cheap corn atm and one should take advantage when market is showing some kind of fear or greed. so yes right now buy the dip according to pockets, its worth it.

So we are on pace to soon be testing the very low 9ks for the third time in a month.

I dont see any special reason why 9k will hold. I want to see some serious volume to convince me otherwise.

We can go to 7-8k and easily still consider ourselves to be in a very bullish scenario. We all remember how 2015 gave away big gains several times only to finish the year very strong.

Tons of support around 8k. If we make it that low and get some mega volume along with a green dildo then I think we set ourselves up nicely for a beautiful finish to 2019.

Here is another interesting observation:

The moment Mayer Multiple reached just above 2.4, it started to go down.

Amazing.

So, $14k was in a mini bubble territory and the bears didn't miss that one. Sniped it right away. $7.5k looks like a good buy.

edit: Also see the previous 2.4 rejections in 2017. Happened twice before the big boom. That's even more interesting.
Any update on Mayer Multiple indicator, for today? Has it fallen closely to 1.2?

A huge volume spike would sure be nice.  But remember, accumulation doesn’t show volume spikes.
