Come on Bitcoin - you know what to do. It's your time to shine.
Actually, maybe we are seeing some decoupling of BTC/Crypto prices from the US Stock Market..or at least, IMHO, not as much as I dreaded! Come on Bitcoin, you know the rule, if you are running from Bears you don't have to run faster than than the Bears, just the other guy, er 'stock market' Futures are up ~4% not observing decoupling just yet I am trying to 'reform' my image on WO and be 'hopeful' (I may have just tilted the Universe and made everything worse! Ack!) Anyway, also I'd recommend watching a movie called 'Contagion' and a PBS show that is really good called "Alone in the Wilderness" if you have to cope like me. Or hell everyone jumps on and revives their decade-old WOW account? The old Chinese Curse comes to mind: May you live in 'interesting' times. Come on Searing! You remember the good old days before internet, colour TV, cell phones, ATMs and dare I say modern plumbing? (at camp I mean) You're going to have to stay positive - people are going to be looking to guys like us when they need to know how to set up a TV antenna, write a check, use a rotary dial phone and possibly the Sears catalogue as TP!

Good morning Bitcoinland. Back to sideways in the $5xxx range after yesterday's roller coaster... currently $5306USD/$7504CAD (Bitcoinaverage). A lot better recovery than the stock market. Go Bitcoin go. most of the world justifiably hates you.
Jealousy.. Pretty much. Yep. Everyone's jealous of a country with the world's highest civilian incarceration rate, that spies on its own citizens while spending more on the military than healthcare or education. Who wouldn't want that? Yeah guess one is better off in a country where its leader cannot be ousted: Russia, China, Middle East, most African Nations.... The average law abiding citizen has never faced any hardships in such nations at all. Let alone... not being able to buy Bitcoin.

Everyone's jealous of a country with the world's highest civilian incarceration rate,
... and where a majority of inmates belong to racial minorities, and many prisons are private-owned, for-profit businesses, and the cost of health treatments is opaque and differs depending on whose hand is paying, and most university graduates start their career burdened by crippling debt... that spies on its own citizens while spending more on the military than healthcare or education. There's that, too. Who wouldn't want that?
Well, they invented Coca-Cola and McDonald's. It surely makes up for everything else, doesn't it.

Anyone?
All big supermarkets here are overrun by idiots, though the small grocery stores in the villages are stocked up to the ceiling. I could choose between 7 different kinds of finest ass-wiping-material a few hours ago. That said, if you can afford the shipping I can send you literally shitloads of TP. I have to smile heartly when I imagine the FOMO moving from TPR to BTC in the very very near future. Moon could possibly be closer than it ever was.

Guys, I want you to remember something...and remember it well.
It only took ~4 weeks for the U.S. to go from the sentiment of "greatest, strongest economy evar!", "fully recovered!", "stock market at ATH!", to frantically needing another Fed $1.5T BAILOUT that's actually larger than the one need during the 2008 Financial Crisis that nearly collapsed the world economy.
Does that really sound like things have recovered and the U.S. economy is strong? Does that sound like the U.S. has gotten things under control? That the U.S. isn't a zombie economy just like every other country in the world?
People need to get their heads out of their asses, and start buying Bitcoin, Gold, Silver, really ANYTHING deflationary instead of fkn toilet paper and Purell.
Because it won't be the coronavirus that kills them. It'll be the massive heart attack they have when the world economic reset comes, and 1 or 2 zeros get lopped off their entire fiat-measured net worth and they go bankrupt overnight.

The same idiots because of whom the hospital turned down my 82 year old grandmother when she had a medical emergency because they were overloaded with idiots who were diagnosed with sneezing more than twice a week. Now she is waiting for a free spot to open up on April 15th, taking pain pills and enduring severe pain. I wish the virus would kill off these double digit IQ assholes.

I'll survive the pandemic Let’s hope, though it’s not written in stone.... if not the disease, still watch out for crazy peeps in need for your TP I live in the Netherlands so most people are sane here, and TP is still in the shelves amidst the outbreak. And my focus is on staying safe. Got my surgical grade hand sanitizer. Food for 2 weeks if I get sick, etc. Everyone should stay safe You probably hoarded enough TP yourself to wipe the bullshit smell from your post. https://www.ad.nl/zeeland/wc-papier-massaal-ingekocht-schappen-in-supermarkt-leeg~af9b1915/Well I bought a big 60-roll (or something) pack at the Makro a while back. And I usually take a dump at work Yesterday TP was still available in AH and Jumbo (Utrecht province). But then again who the fuck wants to live in Zeeland province (Bible belt territory I bet) I need to go to the shop today I might take a pic and post it.... It doesn't matter where in The Netherlands. I've seen enough behaviour from people around the world to notice they mostly act the same, whether in The Netherlands, or in Zeeland, Utrecht or not. What the minority does can often still influence the rest. See Chinese wet food market asshole practices or us buying Bitcoin. Lol TP disappeared. No TP at AH 🙈 Kleenex menthol or kitchen roll is the alternative Checked at Jumbo and they're out too. Funny how you can still get steak, kitchen rolls, but no TP. What's wrong with people? You can still clean your ass in the shower...

Who wouldn't want that? Indeed. Everybody should be duly grateful that America uses a combination of military aggression, economic warfare, and cultural imperialism to convert all the beknighted * peoples of the world to Americanism. We can all be like Americans! America demands it. * Not a typo.
Go Bitcoin go. Damn straight.

Soooo much better to live in a country where you oust them every 8 years, but it doesn't matter and nothing ever changes. I love America. I love it's constitution. I love the revolutionary principles of liberty on which it is founded. I love the landscape and I love the people. The government of the beloved nation of my birth has evolved, before my eyes, into an unrecognizable horror of corruption and violence. Something something...tree of liberty.

*TRUMP SEEKING OVER $1,000 IN DIRECT PAYMENTS FOR AMERICANS *MNUCHIN SAYS DIRECT PAYMENTS COULD COME IN TWO WEEKS *MNUCHIN SAYS ENTIRE PACKAGE TO BE LAID OUT LATER TODAY *MNUCHIN: INCREASING TAX PAYMENT DEFERRAL BY USD300 BILLION *TRUMP SAYS MNUCHIN, SENATE WORKING ON ‘BIG, BOLD PACKAGE’ *TRUMP SAYS ‘WE’RE GOING BIG’ ON VIRUS RELIEF MONEY Trump Wants To Send Americans More Than $1,000 in Two Weeks Mnuchin says ‘Americans need cash now’ to weather shut downs Tax payments can be delayed and stock market will stay openBy Josh Wingrove, Laura Davison and Saleha Mohsin
(Bloomberg) -- Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said the administration is pushing to send direct payments to Americans within two weeks, and the White House wants the checks to be larger than $1,000, according to people familiar with the matter. “Americans need cash now, and the president wants to give cash now. And I mean now, in the next two weeks,” Mnuchin said Tuesday at a White House briefing alongside President Donald Trump. The cash payments would be part of an $850 billion stimulus plan Mnuchin is negotiating with lawmakers to deal with the coronavirus outbreak. The administration has not decided on how much to send Americans, but wants the checks to exceed $1,000, according to two people familiar with the matter. Mnuchin said the administration will aim not to send checks to millionaires but stressed the need for urgency. He was due to meet Republican lawmakers after the briefing. “I think we’re going to do something that gets money to them as quickly as possible,” Trump said. Mnuchin also said the government intends to keep stock markets open. ‘Practical Limitations’ It may not be practical to get money to Americans as fast as Trump desires. When Congress sent stimulus checks in 2009 to combat the financial crisis it took more than two months from the signing of the bill to checks hitting the mail.
It’s quickest and simplest for Congress to send the same amount to every individual person, but still will take months to happen, Marc Gerson, a former tax counsel for the House Ways and Means Committee, said. If lawmakers decide to give more money to lower-income workers, it becomes even more complicated.
“There are practical limitations with cutting checks,” he said. In a further move to relieve financial stress on average Americans, Mnuchin said that individual taxpayers can get a deadline extension on paying taxes of up to $1 million and corporations can defer tax payments of up to $10 million. The deferments can total as much as $300 billion, Mnuchin said, up from $200 billion he proposed last week. The 90-day delay gives taxpayers additional time to pay their outstanding tax liabilities without interest or penalties. The White House is encouraging taxpayers to still file by April 15 if they don’t owe the IRS any money. ‘Substantial Reduction’ Trump on Monday advised Americans not to meet in groups larger than 10, avoid restaurants and bars and to educate their children at home if practicable. Vice President Mike Pence said that if those social-distancing guidelines are followed, the U.S. may see “a substantial reduction in the spread of the coronavirus.” There have been more than 5,000 cases of the virus in the U.S. and 91 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University. Pence also said Tuesday the White House is asking construction companies to donate their supplies of N95 air-filtering masks to hospitals and to “forego making additional orders” in order to ensure health-care workers have sufficient access to the gear.
