So I'm checking the CMC list as I do 457 times a day and I decided to click on "price" just for shits and giggles. (seeing how Bitcoin by default is like a magnitude higher in price than its closest 2nd place competitor that I shall not name cough eth shitcoin cough cough...) Anyway .... I click on "price" and hello! this thing comes up in 2nd place... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FOJXOu1F.png&t=663&c=kJHqYooT36EJEA) OH FFS! is there no end to this farcical shitcoinery??!

insert after labor day the capital will come flooding in meme
We will see a massive influx in next month I agree. This is the real shmita will come this September. Also with massive censorship going on coins like LBC will explode. InfoWars journalist who was arrested posted to LBRY last night so their video could not be taken down or demonetized. This is causing mass influx of newbies to crypto. Even Tim Pool and Peter Shiff are using it and earning crypto for their video content.

What is the connection of your whole idea of your second paragraph to bitcoin, beyond possibly spurious and hypothetical? Are we really talking about bitcoin, here? or some other amorphous nonsense?

There's some pretty goddamn depressing lumps of granite in there, especially in Europe. I've read about people buying islands in Panama to arrive and find a surprise population waiting for them. Even more so than super yachts, islands seem like something that are much better left as someone else's problem. I'd much rather rent and then bugger off.

This is pretty entertaining stuff, had to send you a merit for it. I know in some developing countries they don't let foreigners own land, or else they can only be up to 49% owners... wonder how the lease works in those places.

Yeah, with such things... rent is almost always better then full ownership.

Ah, thanks. Gosh, June?? It feels like three months have been taken away from my life. I've got to find a way to make up for it. That's actually a good practice, for bitcoin in particular, to wait a couple months after the latest update. The client has usually been tested for a few weeks or months as a "release candidate" even before getting into it's "final" or release version. Still, you'd notice there are sometimes rapid updates in succession, like x.x.1 then x.x.2 then x.x.3, then you really would not have missed much by updating directly to the latest one.
