BREAKING: Financial powerhouse Goldman Sachs to offer #crypto custody as early as 2021!

https://www.coindesk.com/goldman-sachs-to-enter-crypto-market-soon-with-custody-play-source

Wait... Crypto custody is a case of not-your-keys, right?

The thing about custody is that it's guaranteed, often backed by insurance.

This is how their Institutional Fractional Reserve System will make inroads.

EDIT: machasm beat me to it.

What’s to stop banks from running fractional reserve practices on our Bitcoin and putting us back in the same shithole Bitcoin was designed to get us out of?

Bitcoin is GOD

Bitcoin does its own thing. With a fresh outlook of another $2+ trillion spending ahead, I’m not worried about the narrative of Bitcoin the next few months.

At this point I've completely given up any hope of any sort of austerity measures in the U.S.

I'm hoping that the MSM "doom and gloom" narrative continues on indefinitely, along with continual money printer go brrr. The smart who see through the lies and the pandering, opt out of the fiat monetary system, and invest in Bitcoin and other deflationary assets will gain in wealth and eventually inherit the earth.

The ignorant and hopelessly stupid will continue to put faith in politicians to right the ship, stop printing money to excess, and somehow magically create jobs (none of which will ever happen). They will slave away their whole life, only to die poor and miserable. Unfortunately they can't be helped, they can only help themselves.
The only problem with this is that the same people which put their trust and faith in those politicians to try to save them are going to be the same people which are going to see we had profited massively from our investments and are going to go crying to them and ask them to tax our profits at 90% or something ridiculous like that out of some sort of distorted sense of fairness, and obviously those same politicians that are sinking their countries will try to comply.

This is why it is also important to not flaunt your riches, at this point in time it is not only critical to hold bitcoin, you need to also conceal that fact, and if you can, play dumb whenever someone asks you a question about the topic so you do not bring unwanted attention to yourself.

Need the printer to print dollar change  Cheesy
Unlikely, the US loses money on each penny they produce and soon enough if they keep the printers going on it will include other coins as well.

Not for everyone  Wink
Not everyone is rich already.

Maybe time for the riches to take some filthy fiat off the table?
Maybe Bitcoin is just reflecting a sentiment of the rich at the time?

(Please don't mind if you were joking and i didn't get it)

Many people are holding alts and so they are not in profit right now. They are waiting for the alt season which may give them good profits.

Bob, it's good that you're stacking sats, actually I should be doing the same, it's just that I can't be bothered with the whole process of wiring the fiat and waiting for it to arrive at the exchange, etc., etc.

I wonder though. With so many coins you have (in the big hundreds or more, I'm sure), what's the point of buying $250 worth of BTC? Is this just for fun/entertainment purposes? Because, even when Bitcoin goes 10x (and it will), your $250 (or $1250) will become $2500 ($12,500). Just peanuts compared to the coins you have.

Not trying to criticize you or anything, just to get your point of view. Why not buy $100,000 (or more) worth of BTC straight away right now? I believe you must have that kind of fiat. That would be a move that would fit your stash and wealth level. $250 is just dust for you, isn't it?

On the other hand, "every little helps", and maybe we should all be doing that, no matter how large or small the amount. In fact, your post is seriously tempting me to wire a few $$$$ to buy more corn...

Sorry for getting a little personal, just being curious...

TBH, I'm just kinda having fun trying to see how much I can buy an additional single coin for, using DCA by trying to buy the dips.

Hear so many others preaching the same ethos, so I figured I'd get my boots properly dirty, and get some practical experience.

Also, I'm just really, REALLY bored.

I'm trying to understand your chart. Do you have a link to the source.

The chart is pretty easy to understand. When we are in blue zone, its bitcoin season (means bitcoin dominance is highest) and if we are in the Red zone, its an alt season at peak (bitcoin dominance is lowest)

Here is the link to source:  https://www.blockchaincenter.net/altcoin-season-index/
