Of corse we all want that unfortunately it will not happen, this conflict has been going on for centuries and will continue for years ore even decades to come, in fact they battle eachother in times way before Jezus was alife.

The nationalists Jews wants to settle a long term score to eradicate all the hard-line Palestinian Arab nationalists from the area to make room for ''Greater Isreal'' while the non-nationalists from both camps wants to live together peacefully sharing both the holy lands, the normal people will suffer as always.

They already made peace deals with former enemy (muslim) countries so don't expect support besides minor muscletalk from Egypt, they recieve fundings and missiles from Iran but Iran is Shias and this brings other conflict in the mix between Shias and Sunnis, it's just basiclly a major shithole.

The land was "lost" to Israel after they attacked Israel in order to totally wipe it of the map and kill all the jews. It sucks to loose, but they started it and now they have to suffer the consequences.

Not to mention that it is jewish land to begin with. The Romans occupied it and eventually got tired of the constant jewish insurrections and scattered the jews all over the world. all regional powers coming after the Romans continued the occupation. It took them some 2000 years to get it back, but now they have it, and if anyone thinks they are gonna leave again, they are in for a surprise.

You are entirely incorrect as to what "side" you perceive me to be on, although that does not really matter.  The side I am MOST on happens to be supporting the peaceful Jews and Muslims.

What I said was intentionally free from taking sides either explicitly or implied.

I very precisely chose my words to communicate EXACTLY what I meant.

If you read it again slowly, and leave out any interpretations other than "THIS IS THE WRONG PLACE FOR THIS DISCUSSION" then you might end up with a more accurate picture of what I meant.

The only takeaway I have from the Israel thing is the fact that they announced a simulated war with Hamas "within 2 days" for a month long war. Then the next day they were "attacked" and had to begin a month long war.

That doesn't concern me so much as this:
Classified US military war game set to take place as concerns about threats posed by China and Russia increase

The US does war simulations all the time, I've been involved in many of them. There is really no reason to tell the media about doing so. Unless they need to explain why they're moving a bunch of heavy equipment into attack positions, like was done with Israel (but they attacked first! we were told that on the mass media programming).

Actually, the science on that isn't all that clear, it seems we are born with a sense of belonging to our own in group and by default dislike out groups. The trick is to widen the in group as much as possible, that's what the nation states are doing.

Yes, but the outcome was better for humanity then if the wars weren't fought in the first place. So humanity is the clear winner in both these wars.
