Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the moment they haven't done a legal tender law like in el salvador, as Lugano is a municipality and hasn't the authority to replace CHF.

What I've understood is that, aside from building a BTC biz center and university courses, they'll try to create bonuses as much as possible to foster the acceptance of BTC and USDT at the local shops, but they will continue to accept CHF.

According to Delphi digital, the use of BTC by the Russian to evade Sanctions has raised liquid supply to historically high levels:



I am not a believer in liquid supply, a measure that can be changed una matter of hours..
Also, I guess Russians who want to evade sanctions would be better to hold the keys of their wealth: “Not your keys, not your coins” apply to every SoV.

What I've understood is that, aside from building a BTC biz center and university courses, they'll try to create bonuses as much as possible to foster the acceptance of BTC and USDT at the local shops, but they will continue to accept CHF.

Indeed, this was a “little more” than a marketing stunt.
Of course it is not little, as they demonstrated at least a strategic vision for the municipality.
