Oh well, we will eat Ukrainian Russian gruel instead.

Our Prime Minister has been AWOL since his last commons appearance about a month ago and no matter how bleak the economy looks in Britain he is too busy with holidays etc which I understand.
It can't be easy having all these holiday commitments and 7 kids.
Luckily he could still make an appearance in the far more important country Ukraine on their important independence day.
And as Zelensky points out the entire world depends on Ukraine's independence now.

World depends on Ukrainian independence - Zelensky

Funny how Ukraine has been a disputed country for the good part of 300 years going back to the days of Catherine The Great but NOW it is easily the most important country in the world. I agree.
No other country in the world has mattered more and needed more economies to be destroyed to simply ensure its "independence".

Interesting to note that independence doesn't mean financial independence. Weird huh?

I can see "Earn up to 8% APY on crypto asset". May I know what's that referring to? As you are a marketplace, where's the connection between that and offering APY and also cloud mining. It’s not a good example IMO.

On a side note- Why are you only focusing on Australian GEO? You can target globally or have plan in the future.

Not sure what Independence Day they celebrate today since they lost their independence in 2014. The so called Ukrainian army are just mercenaries entirely paid by Washington and London.

So I read the article.

It states 250 megawatts saved over 18 months.

Lets break this down.

250/18 = 14 megawatts a month. less but I rounded up to 14

that is 480 kwatts a day

or 20 kwatts an hour.

or six s19 machines 24/7/ 18 months.

In my house in NJ I do 4 megawatts a month

My farm in Clifton NJ does 200 kwatts an hour
or 4.8 mega watts a day
or 144 megawatts a month.

The most interesting thing about the article is how small the power use really is.

Lets pretend 250 megawatts in 18 months is true.
Lets pretend 9000 farms were closed mostly in terhan.

it would be small two or three gpu card rigs in an apartment.

Ie a little guy mining some eth at nicehash and converting it to btc.

The math they give means either they are missing big mines or simply smacking around some little guy in his apartment.

To further clearify this they say 250 mega watts in 18 minths
and they say 9000 farms not me.

A six gpu card rig pulling 1 kwatt an hour times 9000 is 9 megawatts in one hour
or 216 megawatts in a day
a far cry from 250 megawatts saved in 18 months

So the numbers they give are really fucked up.

Is the 9000 “farms” wrong
is the 250 megawatts over 18 months wrong.

or did they mean 250 megawatts daily for 18 months. this would be worth while news if it were this much.

it would mean 50 farms like my clifton nj farm were shut down.

I am thinking i would love to know the right numbers.

I think their main issue is the fact that the miners as predominantly being run on Subsidized locations and causing the Gov to look bad with the rolling brownouts.

yeah but 250 megawatts in 18 months in a major city is nothing.

Tehran has a lot of people. "8.694 million (2016)" google search says more people in Tehran than in NYC

once again the numbers are really small or misreported.

and even if it is 250 megawatts a day vs 540 days which is a factor of 540x to 1.

250 megawatts in a city of 9 million is pretty much nothing.

NYC uses 11,000 megawatts a day

"google search info"

"Tehran used 58000 mega-watts.  on July 19 2020"

source

https://www.tehrantimes.com/tag/daily+power+consumption

so at best 250 of 58,000
as reported .5 of 58,000

Either way a clear bullshit story against pow mining.

Also Bigfoot exists, the earth is flat and Elvis is alive and well, running a potato farm in upstate Idaho.
These are all totally true and indisputable facts because I posted them on this here famous anonymous bitcoin forum on the intertoobz…
