I'm confident we won't go above $5 for the rest of 2011 and I'm even more sure the price will never reach the all time high again.
Had actually taken all the bearish predictions in the past year or so half seriously. Now I realise why it's more a parody than anything else. Am wondering if it's just the story of an early miner who sold all their coins and has forever been in regret? It's a hilarious mystery. I think he's been trolling us for so long that most people think he's serious. I don't. I think he's a pope and he's sitting on fat stacks of sats. It is my belief that Proudhon takes great pains to be as accurate as possible at his inverse indicator posts and takes great pride in such. I regard them as as close to gospel as you can get in this thread.

t @jjg Was just an email I received today entitled "Notification" For obvious reasons I will not include a link Ok.. yeah.. thanks for the context.. I am sure some people (especially a newbie or someone who might not sufficiently understand what is happening or maybe someone who has some kind of similar thing going on that causes them to believe that the issue is legit) fall for those kinds of scams.

psa Tests conducted by Project Zero confirm that those four vulnerabilities allow an attacker to remotely compromise a phone at the baseband level with no user interaction, and require only that the attacker know the victim's phone number. https://googleprojectzero.blogspot.com/ Based on information from public websites that map chipsets to devices, affected products likely include: Mobile devices from Samsung, including those in the S22, M33, M13, M12, A71, A53, A33, A21s, A13, A12 and A04 series; Mobile devices from Vivo, including those in the S16, S15, S6, X70, X60 and X30 series; The Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series of devices from Google; and any vehicles that use the Exynos Auto T5123 chipset. In the meantime, users with affected devices can protect themselves from the baseband remote code execution vulnerabilities mentioned in this post by turning off Wi-Fi calling and Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) in their device settings,

Ah yes rock concerts… I remember getting in line, for tickets the night before for good seats, back in my youthful daze. Watch one’s fave band play live from a mile away in a stadium, get a shitty mix, get all phucked up on drugs, get one’s ears blown out and hang out with a bunch of screaming drunks who end up puking in the parking lot and passing out before the really shitty warm up band has even finished their set. Yeah…. those were the days…..

I think he's been trolling us for so long that most people think he's serious. I don't. I think he's a pope and he's sitting on fat stacks of sats. He says he's not serious himself, and I think he's a whale. ...The fact of the matter is a pretty large proportion of what I post here is posted as a sort of parody of a lot of the sort of talk that goes on around here and, in weird way, a parody of a lot of my thinking and posting last year. Embarrassing as it is to admit that, it is what it is and it's something I'd like to start moving away from (though, it's just so temping sometimes).

I don't know if this has already been posted, but in case it hasn't https://www.theverge.com/2023/3/24/23655622/chatgpt-outage-payment-info-exposed-mondayOpenAI has announced new details about why it took ChatGPT offline on Monday, and it’s now saying that some users’ payment information may have been exposed during the incident.
According to a post from the company, a bug in an open source library called redis-py created a caching issue that may have shown some active users the last four digits and expiration date of another user’s credit card, along with their first and last name, email address, and payment address. Users also may have seen snippets of others’ chat histories as well. The company says the payment info leak may have affected around 1.2 percent of ChatGPT Plus who used the service between 4AM and 1PM ET on March 20th.
