I'm confident we won't go above $5 for the rest of 2011 and I'm even more sure the price will never reach the all time high again.

Had actually taken all the bearish predictions in the past year or so half seriously. Now I realise why it's more a parody than anything else.

Am wondering if it's just the story of an early miner who sold all their coins and has forever been in regret?

It's a hilarious mystery. I think he's been trolling us for so long that most people think he's serious. I don't. I think he's a pope and he's sitting on fat stacks of sats.

gotta say JJG is right...

this one was too late, but it's a worthy contender:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTf5j9LDObk
singer reminds of a fat version of meth pusher Mr. V  ... especially the body movement

I have to give you credit for revealing that one.. (it was new to me), and I would say that it was a potential contender.. but the end..?  holy fucking shit.. a real buzz kill and there's an immediate need to kick that "bad boy" off the cliff once that shitcoin is brought up as if it is even in the ballpark of similar to bitcoin.... which we should already realize that affinity scams mislead folks whenever you paint them in a positive light.. next to king daddy.... that's a pretty serious infraction.

mmh yes, singing about meth as being in the same ball park with Bitcoin is misleading and deserves a batslap.
It certainly makes it a less worthy contender, in the end.  I will retract my former statement in order to avoid a slapping myself Tongue

However.. the singer looks like Mr. V (the meth pusher) and he shilling his stupid shitcoin in the end is quite funny me thinks.

Is there any explanation of this chart in more like ELI5 style? I did read the explanation provided underneath, however, I don't think I understood it. Especially it will be interesting to learn what people are making out of this chart?

Hollywood stars scramble to sell homes ahead of Los Angeles’ new ‘mansion’ tax
https://uk.yahoo.com/style/hollywood-stars-scramble-sell-homes-084851745.html

So Trump being voted in never actually made them move (they all claimed they'd be off to Canada on Twitter 7 years ago) but a localised new tax did.

What's the matter, they don't believe in helping the homeless, whilst the entire country can "still easily" afford to spend 800 times the amount to be raised on the military?!

Roll Eyes

Also, how the hell did Marky Mark end up with a $80 million home?  Shocked
I mean he is a decent actor, but $80 million?!

Hey guys!

I really like to use google trends as on of the indicators for how retail is feeling towards an asset and when it comes to BTC price, I noticed a few points:

This is a chart for Bitcoin searches from 2009 until nowadays, worldwide.

Chart: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=2009-11-01%202023-03-27&q=%2Fm%2F05p0rrx&hl=en

* ATH for google searches was actually in 2017 bullrun, not in 2021 (maybe this support the theory that our last bull run was more institutional capital and less retail oriented)
* Searches during this bear market are higher than in the previous bear market (maybe we are seeing a better interest from retail, and it would make even more sense with the actual bank crashing  issues

I'm looking forward for the next months to come, wishing for the famous Bitcoin decoupling to become a thing after all this hassle with the traditional bank system.

May Satoshi be with you.

Raoul Pal is the one in the clown disguise. Can't believe people still have him on podcasts after his ridiculous $40K prediction.

Scotland now has a racist First Minister, who has a problem with most representatives of that country, which has a 96% white population, being white.

Good luck with that shite.

Let's see Saudi Arabia have its first white leader soon, right?
