Coinbase is about to start having to find OTC Bitcoin just to dump on their exchange so people have something to buy… How can you determine what the price even is if there are no coins left for sale? nitter.net has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

Maybe it wont work because your browser doesn't allow legacy http connections?

put this in the address bar: about:preferences#privacy
hit enter
scroll way down the page and look for HTTPS-Only Mode
you can disable it (probably not a great idea) or add an exception for nitter.net

If that's not it, it might be your operating system or perhaps your anti-virus/malware software?

I've had the same issue and I cannot disallow the security cert as it states the site is requiring the cert.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

 Oh, I see now.  I tried FireFox and it wants https but nitter.net's certificate is 25 days out of date so while it could still be secure, the browser wont let you risk it... but again you're not connecting with a username and password or sendiing any credit card info (I hope).  I use Brave and say "proceed anywho" when I'm served a warning.  Just use a VPN!
