cost / value ratio Plummets yet again!
I'm just going to repeat myself, this is not sustainable, >800$ next week GUARANTEED
It's getting ridiculous how much good news and how un-stoppable bitcoin is becoming. Next serious surge could send us to hundreds of billions marketcap. So what is keeping the train at the station this long? Or are those of us that have been through a "bubble" or two just getting a bit impatient this time around? I guess we were stuck at about $120 and $140 for a while last Summer. I am astonished too. I guess the delay in the system, from interest to actual demand, is far greater than I previously thought. Half year to a year. We have an exchange problem. It is simply not easy for the masses to get money to exchanges or to buy bitcoin. Likewise, it does not fell legally safe for large institutional buyers to buy from exchanges. When these things change we will see another bubble. Could be this year. Depends on where you live, in the Netherlands and Belgium it's very easy to buy bitcoins, ( www.bitonic.nl allows you to use iDeal and mistercash only, both of which are instant payment methods between your bank and bitonic. It can't get much simpler than that, and soon the whole SEPA region will get similar payment methods like iDeal so bitonic might become even bigger in Europe.

and BTC drops to 400 usd
humans are soooo silly

This kind of market behaviour suggest we haven't left the bear market yet. And of course we didn't have a proper capitulation, so for now the market is in limbo.

Today, from my french bank to kraken, it is at least 24h, and usually 48h.

At what point are you not a bear? $2k, $3k, $5k Or are you always a bear? Because you are throwing money away not playing both side unbiasedly. Being a contrarian is just a self identity thing with you, right?

It's not there yet, the market will have to reach about 800$ for that. And then start corrective wave 2, dropping to about 600$.

Localbitcoins is competitive because people don't think prices will rise too much so they want to sell at market price before price will crash to around 600 again.

To the veterans here, does this pre-bubble FEEL different than the previous pre-bubbles (under the assumption that a bubble is nigh)?
One big difference to me is that it seems like a lot of people are expecting a bubble soon. That was not the case before and makes everyone a tad bit more on the edge.

Very true, so many people expecting Bubble soon, and normally bubble come silently so max chances we will not rise much and will hanging around 550-650 range.

Could very well be, but bubbles are all about mass psychology, and if everyone expects us to rise above 3000 then ... EDIT: What I mean is I have no clue where we're going. Will the next bubble be a short or a record large one? We're certainly destined for one, one way or another.

That's not necessarily true. There's enough moving around that if a few large whales suddenly sat still, markets fluctuations would move the price steadily upwards. It's pretty tense, don't you think?

A lot of people were predicting the last bubble. Some didn't believe we could have 2 in 1 year, but many were predicting it. Now its more expected because we had 2 last year. We'll see...

Localbitcoins is competitive because people don't think prices will rise too much so they want to sell at market price before price will crash to around 600 again. I don't know. I am on vacation in Asia and bought a couple of coins cheap 10 days ago. Since then, the sellers have either pulled their ads or cut their limits way lo. To buy 1 btc, I would have to contact the 3 cheapest sellers together. Or buy from the guy selling at $710. I think all the sellers are in HODL mode. I am upset because I haven't spent much on this trip, to save up for a few extra coins, which have been near impossible to get locally. I will have to wait until I get back home, if the prices haven't skyrocketed before that.
