There is no reason for a dump at all -- the news has been wonderful. And yet I have this sick feeling that we are going to have some dramatic movement like a flash crash or some other bull----

Will do. Good thinking. I am sure my weird feeling is nothing, but just in case... really good thinking.

Sir,

Selling is the easy part. Buying back in quantity is the difficult one.

I'm still expecting quite a crash as well. People are waiting to go up which isn't happening. Sooner or later they will start selling instead. Then they will panic and think this is as high as we will go and dump it all.
It would suck so bad if we're going to 600 or mid 500's again Sad

As i said before all this good news and nothing happens. Even the media is very positive. Unless Amazon accepts Bitcoin tomorrow it really can't get much better atm. Everything is there to go up. Yet we go down instead. It really looks very bad. Give me a good reason why this suddenly would change? Why would everybody start buying instead?

Next week will be boring. No auction, no big new companies, nothing. If we already go down this week then next week won't be pretty. And when that happens i'm almost sure some fresh new FUD will appear out of nowhere to make sure we crash hard.

We had the run to 630, we need to sit here for a couple weeks like we did at 590 and think it over.  Every run past 640 has been beaten back with low volume.

Funny btw how nobody cares anymore about the biggest event this year that completely controlled the market for 2 weeks: the price of the sold coins.
100's of posts. It was the most important thing ever. It was the only thing people talked about.
3 days later and nobody gives a shit anymore.

The biggest event this year is Kuwait, an OPEC nation, suggesting to replace the petrodollar with the petrobitcoin.  In order to purchase 75 million barrels of oil a day, bitcoin's price would need to be orders of magnitude larger than it is now.

The ramification of this would be world changing instantly.

Check it out for yourself, try using http://worldbitcoinnetwork.com/BitcoinPriceModel-Alpha.html
and add a 3 trillion dollar oil market to the model.

nice site; i get rich by sliding with my finger... Cheesy

God, I hate that site. Right at the center of the snake oil infrastructure of Bitcoin.

This entire circlejerk about the 200 Trillion Coin is so intellectually lazy and deceiving, I personally believe it to be the least ethical side of Bitcoin as a social phenomenon. Yes. Worse than Mtgox, SR and Leah McGrath's doxing of an old dude who had nothing to do with Bitcoin.

Sir,

Selling is the easy part. Buying back in quantity is the difficult one.

sell?Huh then buy back more coin ..ack...retreat....that could end badly for me (have the attention span of an anteater)  Ack!

I simply am gonna hold...shoulda as a newbie just bought coin rather then miners but hey have coin....so whatever floats the boat

imho BTC is gonna 'work' in some kinda world wide manner as expected or die a squishy death in small doses in a dribbling demise....as fads do (shudder)

my own 'worse odds' is that the odds of Bitcoin as a mechanism surviving is 65%/35% on my gloomy days..was 50/50 imho in 2013.

so it is not a manner of HOW you get bitcoin but a matter of HOW MUCH  bitcoin you can manage to get/buy/afford within the coming few years and hold!

to expand on that also

so an't how you GOT the btc it is gonna be WHEN you got the BTC if you look down the road and are betting on bitcoins success (drank the kool aid)

so maybe after all this drama of BFL / KNC Jupiter 2013 (yea?) KNC Titan on the way (no frigging idea on that choice..prob get a box of parts dumb)
SP 30 (Sept) er duh 2600 watts of heat in bsmt DOH! anyway me thinks the consumer equip train is gonna roll to a stop by 2015 ..from then on it is all gonna be big PH farms etc

so probably should just sell crap in the attic for funds and play more modestly with 'www.coinbase.com after the first of the year....more tranquil/less drama...

tired of the drama gonna hold what I have...maybe buy  itty bitty bits of bitcoin in the future or itty bitty miners that won't roi for giggles..BUT... the age
of me dumping 8-17K on miners is LONG gone ...I can't really see dumping 12K on a machine say dec 2014 that only makes say 6-7 coin mentally I will not
be able to get around that in my head..the jupiter 550gh knc unit last oct 18th started mining at 1 BTC a day...to big a mental lieap...

so anyway timing selling btc buying btc etc....as they say I'm all in on what I can afford HOLDING ..hopefully bitcoin as a movement will continue
but selling BTC to get more BTC with market games scares the bejeebees out of me....I do not need new methods to flitter away BTC .....so speculation
for me is out...will sit on the crap I've made...play with coinbase...assuming my long view of BTC is correct..this will also work well...

(my 2c worth..not that it is worth that much)

The good news will have an effect in a month - now the USD on the exchanges is spent - no more up movements and people want to lock in their profits from the recent rally. It's always the same.

That's a bit harsh, Oda. That site is more like internet daydreaming. Its fantasy. "Calgon take me away." Remember most bitcoiners are still young boys fresh out (or not out) of their parents basement. It's either that site or porn. Take your pick.

But I don't think the site hurts anyone. And, in truth, from a fundamental standpoint, a lot of those factors are relevant to the future of bitcoin, its utility and its price.

Nice double top forming.
Be ready for a correction to 500$.

Increase your BTC holdings by 20% without doing much (just selling).

Very interesting. TA-Trolling...

Breaking support and conforming this Double Top would mean a ~620$ target, not 500$.

market just keeps coiling about. Someone is offloading at 650. Could just be commerce taking place with people exiting at the local top and or profit taking.

The price seems very stable again, so it might be testing the 640/650 floors for some days and then start raising again right to the 700$.
