As time passes, then it's more and more beginning to look like the 30K coin purchase was just an attempt to stimulate the market. Someone probably bought his own coins, to create an illusion of demand, attempting to stop the slow decline. Some people fell for it, and this caused some upward movement, but after the effect of this illusion faded, then back to the same situation where the market was before this show.
Don't forget it creates the illusion of support at 300, too. Could be he was slowly cashing out on the way up to 1000 and had a lot of extra money to try and continue the run-up, figuring he'd be a millionaire either way but might as well try to make the rest of his coins worth more (and if he likes bitcoin, he might be willing to take losses to go for a price rise). Eventually he's going to need to sell excess if he hasn't already, so he can reload the "fiat cannons" and try again at a lower price. It's going to be tough even if we do see a rise, as there are probably a lot of bagholders that would love to get out if it hits the price they bought in at so their spouses don't divorce them for losing half their life savings or whatever.

Spouses don't have to be female, and losing is the opposite of acquiring.

Because the interest rate started to get ridiculously high for a boring market. I kept mine open though. But I will move the stop price lower soon (once 340$ will start to feel as a "never to be seen again anytime soon" point).

Lots of coins being sold for cheap to future millionaires, that's what I'm seeing.

Ah right... worse thing is that i knew this was going to happen, but then sometimes you just have to sleep without a position open to avoid becoming a madman

I just don't get it, it went $7 and you are complaining, what will you do when we hit sub $1xx ?
I have a very complicated trading strategy you couldn't possibly understand Thats through. Its already gone down around 250$ since the past 2 months, and people can't care about complaining about a 7$ dip. So far this year, it has gone down to $275.. that's the lowest price, so far this year. We use Bitstamp prices around here, unless you specify otherwise.

Sideways on low volume for a few days means it's dumping time on bitfinex. Probably revisiting 330s.
Don't worry, we were promised that we'd never see 330 again. I am telling you sub $330 BTC will never happen again. If it does I will never post in this thread again. Huge pumps are incoming in the next few mins / hours.
Who promised? NO one can really promise something like this, unless they happen to be someone who has many millions of dollars and can personally cause an upward price trajectory of significant proportions that will bring BTC prices out of the 3 digits (even then, promises that seem beyond realistic abilities to make). TL; DR: Don't take advice regarding your bitcoin investment decisions from persons on the internet.
