I am just going to ride it (I mean, say it goes to $100 well then we have an entirely different calculus, of course) for a while. The bottom is either here or around $260 to $270 (and $200 in a nightmare scenario). Say it goes to $200... it'll still bounce up back to the $300 range following a crash. So, I'm not leveraged so it's still fairly calculated.

The only thing is whether or not I'll kick myself about having been able to buy in at a cheaper price. That may happen. But I don't imagine I'll incur a huge loss as long as I just sit on it.

In that case I'm fairly certain you'll be alright... eventually.

When the price was stagnant in 2012 we didn't see significant movement until after the block having, which won't happen again until sometime in 2016.

You now have a significant position. I would recommend that you just consider that money lost and gone right now, in order to stay emotionally detached.

I would also recommend that if the price does indeed go up again past 350 don't sell you're whole position. I would keep at least half in cold storage until after the next block having and see how it goes.

Of course I can't offer financial advice, only half-hearted emotional support  Wink

Good bloody lord, Levitt is a heavyweight, not to mention his career at the SEC but Levitt, a Bitcoin bull, wow... well I never.....

I think once and for all this should dispell any remaining doubt any of you may have had, that wall street are all over this like flies on shit.

Levitt is a senior advisor for the Carlyle group, one the the largest private equity firms in the world, and he also works for/advises Goldman, never realised about the bloomberg relationship though, you learn something new everyday.

Having worked in private equity, I can tell you Carlyle are players, and also quite a fcking scary shady firm.

Swimming with the sharks.

God help you all.

(Trish is such a corporate whore puppet, quite hot if you like that sort of thing but you can almost see Bloombergs hand moving her mouth, and todays letter is B for Bitcoin and also for BAD)

No shit.

They are going to go for option B, B for Bitcoin, they will not destroy it,  they will profit from it, and... what they will do probably already are doing is milk every gullible noob for every satoshi they hold, before they (and others) launch this thing into the stratosphere up out of manys reach.

As an aside: I wonder if whoever is crashing out right now cares that the more butthurt is left in Bitcoin's wake, the harders mainstream adoption becomes

Those who are crashing out are with swapped Coins. Even for miners, they may sell short, waiting for coins to be mined to cover. This has been the case in the past months I guess. So, I see profits for selling short come from losses for hodlers/ coin lenders. That has been the whole thing.

Forget about the adoption. The whole circular are all speculators. Who would adopt btc for transaction by that volatility?

But, coin supplies are plenty. As long as the coin swap market is there, short sellers have plenty bullets. Where is the bottom? Any one to comment?
